Question about RP on server

The simple answer is: Roleplaying is unavoidable.

Server rules, part 2:

Discovery Freelancer 24/7 RP is a roleplaying server. Roleplay is mandatory on the game server and in roleplay sections of the forum. Roleplay is taking on the persona of a character and acting or responding in the way the character would.

The moment you put Launch to Space, you are in a multiplayer and roleplaying environment; people will generally approach to you in that way and it is expected that you interact inRP accordingly (Except in Connecticut, of course).
