Those are pretty broad assumptions to make, based on, as you say yourself, zero time in game. You anticipate flames? Why? Maybe play the game some and not judge it by the forums. Some people use these forums to hack away at their own personal vendettas and air grievances best kept to themselves and occasionally to bully, be-little and instil hate, prejudice and fear.

If you could make these gerneralisations, you've probably browsed the forums. Might be an idea to read them in more detail next time, as these subjects have been discussed again and again.

I'll take the one about the community being "reactive" to independents. The question is posed in such a way as to make it seem like a truthful assumption. Everyone on the server is an independent. I would say we interdependent.
