They ordered drinks and he helped her into her seat. "Lovely as usual," he flirted, "even in uniform."

He scanned the area with his head. "I must admit, this is my first stop here. We charted it but never actually stopped. It is a nice, out-of-mind, mid-stop for us going to the Taus."
Then in a kind voice he simply asked her, "So how have you been?"
