Rather than just outright dismissing her argument, he considered what she'd said and thought it over. Was trying to understand the reasons for her behavior and altering or fixing it necessary? She functioned just fine right now. As this went back and forth in his head, he poured himself one more drink. "Commanding, fighting, killing and negotiating is fine. But I'd like to see you able to just live free of every burden your old life gave you. The LFR is growing up, you can grow with it." After a long sip which didn't burn all that much, quite surprisingly, he set his glass down and felt his mind clear. But the problem with that fact was that now he wasn't able to think much at all.

"No way anyone can force you to do it, has to be your choice. But I am happy to know you're trying to trust me." He smiled and raised his glass in her direction, a gesture of toasting to her progress. It was also the first time since they arrived that his mood hadn't been hampered by her behavior, but rather improved because of the honest exchange. Though somewhat disappointingly, the band on stage suddenly stopped playing, its singer had walked off stage and the rest of its members appeared confused on what to do next.
