Konbanwa. O-genki desu ka?

Today I led the crew of the Susanoo out to the irradiated realm of Kepler, for our monthly surveillance report. Still as radioactive as always, that's not going anywhere anytime soon. However, I came across a few entities at Ames that made for some good conversation. An Auxo capital A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith, a Xeno gunboat LFRS-Salem and a non affiliated individual black market freighter going by Nenet:Mido.. Unexpectedly, they were able to bring us up to date on the matters of the Insurgency and what is next for Liberty. the Auxo vessel predicted that Liberty may set its sights on the independent regions bordering it. This is concerning to us only if they begin to encroach on the unstable neutrality of Kepler and Galileo, but that is a doubtful scenario. The group also provided some miscellaneous info regarding dealings with Samura and the Corsairs. If such a thing is true, then we might expect the Corsairs to double down on hostile activities towards us if they show their faces here. Additionally, I questioned them on the matter of procuring cybernetic enhancements or maintenance from them for Shana-san, and the outlook seems good. They offer military grade enhancements to outsiders such as her, so it will make for a perfect opportunity to get some well needed TLC for her parts. The captain of the ship also seemed to harbor a grudge against AP tech, claiming it to be built to make you pay more for repairs. Makes me wonder how Shana-san has gotten on this far without a reliable repair source. In any case, my Shogun, the Auxo at least seem willing to do business with us.

[31.03.2022 16:49:39] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: O: Blood Dragon vessel on radar. Confirmed, it dropped out of the lane.
[31.03.2022 16:49:44] LFRS-Salem: RO: Contact inbound. Unknown configuration.
[31.03.2022 16:50:05] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: While I cannot vouch for the others interests within Ames, we certainly have ours.
[31.03.2022 16:50:20] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: It is, afterall, one of the largest scientific communities in Sirius.
[31.03.2022 16:50:43] LFRS-Salem: E: I cannot spoil the beans about my... let's say... organization.
[31.03.2022 16:50:59] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Well, my boredom rewards me.
[31.03.2022 16:51:00] LFRS-Salem: E: Ahem... I meant spill the beans.
[31.03.2022 16:51:17] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: I am aware of the Alliance's disposition to this sector, I have been made aware of the territorial dispute between the Rogue
[31.03.2022 16:51:20] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Rogues.
[31.03.2022 16:51:33] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Such cases do not impede our daily operations.
[31.03.2022 16:52:09] LFRS-Salem: E: Rogues are everywhere, like rats or stray dogs.
[31.03.2022 16:52:35] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Ah, but I have heard of the two 'heads' clashing here, so to speak.
[31.03.2022 16:52:42] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: No doubt you are aware of who Cobra is.
[31.03.2022 16:52:58] LFRS-Salem: E: I know, yeah.
[31.03.2022 16:53:52] LFRS-Salem: E: Which two heads have you meant?
[31.03.2022 16:54:00] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Hemlocke, and Cobra.
[31.03.2022 16:54:19] >BD<Susanoo: CO: My, is this some kind of secret meeting? You don't mind if I get clear of the radiation, do you?
[31.03.2022 16:54:43] LFRS-Salem: E: Only if you don't endanger this station.
[31.03.2022 16:55:06] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Ames is open to all, barring those who do not intend to respect the zone of neurality.
[31.03.2022 16:55:18] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: ... and if it were to be a secret meeting, we would not be here.
[31.03.2022 16:55:36] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Oh, I'm only teasing. This would be the worst spot for that sort of thing.
[31.03.2022 16:55:39] LFRS-Salem: E: We're missing capes for secrecy anyway.
[31.03.2022 16:56:21] >BD<Susanoo: CO: I must say, it's been some years since I've seen the Eidolon.
[31.03.2022 16:56:33] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Intriguing.
[31.03.2022 16:57:05] LFRS-Salem: E: They're keeping the station safe, I guess.
[31.03.2022 16:57:35] >BD<Susanoo: CO: That research facility is an Auxo installation?
[31.03.2022 16:57:53] LFRS-Salem: E: No, but it's a research community.
[31.03.2022 16:58:25] LFRS-Salem: E: They are all eggheads after all.
[31.03.2022 16:58:25] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Ah, I see. We rarely venture past Shikoku, so this is news to us.
[31.03.2022 16:59:39] >BD<Susanoo: CO: I must say though, the blessing of Zoner no fire zones make for bizarre meetings.
[31.03.2022 17:00:30] LFRS-Salem: E: I've little need for shooting you, Kusarian.
[31.03.2022 17:00:40] LFRS-Salem: E: As long as you know where your borders are.
[31.03.2022 17:01:09] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Worry not. We respect your movement. Liberty has been quite distasteful as of late.
[31.03.2022 17:02:12] LFRS-Salem: E: You have your own wars after all.
[31.03.2022 17:03:22] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Yes, one that dates back centuries. Older than yours, even.
[31.03.2022 17:03:44] LFRS-Salem: E: What are you even trying to do?
[31.03.2022 17:05:05] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Well, in layman's terms, we're simply taking back what was stolen from us.
[31.03.2022 17:05:17] >BD<Susanoo: CO: That being the seat of Kusari.
[31.03.2022 17:05:48] LFRS-Salem: E: Tough cookie jar to crack.
[31.03.2022 17:05:53] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Centuries ago, Samura, overpowered by greed, cast our ancestors out. That's the gist of it.
[31.03.2022 17:06:15] >BD<Susanoo: CO: They were incredibly cruel in their methods and forced the emperor at the time to suicide.
[31.03.2022 17:06:40] >BD<Susanoo: CO: That's what the records say, at least. Many of the finer details slip through the cracks of time quite easily.
[31.03.2022 17:06:56] LFRS-Salem: E: Isn't suicide in your society like... common thing?
[31.03.2022 17:07:48] >BD<Susanoo: CO: You must be referring to ritual suicide, or seppuku.
[31.03.2022 17:08:31] >BD<Susanoo: CO: It's not a thing foreigners would easily understand, I suppose.
[31.03.2022 17:08:35] LFRS-Salem: E: Dunno, I've met a few flowers some time ago and they've been screaming about glorious death.
[31.03.2022 17:09:15] >BD<Susanoo: CO: You speak of the Chrysanthemums. Yes, they are rather brazen. But between you and me, it's likely the cardamine that's-
[31.03.2022 17:09:18] >BD<Susanoo: doing the talking.
[31.03.2022 17:09:44] LFRS-Salem: E: No, I've met a lot of junkies. None of them were such fucking nutheads.
[31.03.2022 17:10:25] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: I have actually obtained some of their more experimental "alchemies" they have been working on.
[31.03.2022 17:10:43] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Shigekaki. Purely for study. A cardamine infused herbal tea.
[31.03.2022 17:10:54] >BD<Susanoo: CO: They've managed to create a unique cardamine drink that is more effective than the base version, from what I've heard.
[31.03.2022 17:10:58] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: However -
[31.03.2022 17:12:05] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: It is laced with additional adrenalines, stimulants. It is possible to experience a dissociative hallucinogenetic experience
[31.03.2022 17:12:11] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: at least from the brief study we had on it.
[31.03.2022 17:12:18] Rules Tip: Do not threaten a player with reports or sanctions. If you see someone breaking server rules - help them. If that does not work - report them to the administration team on the Forums.
[31.03.2022 17:12:22] LFRS-Salem: E: More effective Cardamine? I bet if someone wants to stone himself or herself pretty good, they can just...
[31.03.2022 17:12:40] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: If one is under the influence of such drink, they are more than likely allowing themselves to lose self control under all
[31.03.2022 17:12:43] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: of that energy.
[31.03.2022 17:12:55] >BD<Susanoo: CO: I'm not sure what the intent is behind the creation of it. It's something they prefer to keep a secret.
[31.03.2022 17:13:05] LFRS-Salem: E: ... sniff ton of cardamine, smoke a weed and then get wasted by some alcohol.
[31.03.2022 17:13:10] >BD<Susanoo: CO: But I believe it might have something to do with ritualistic purposes.
[31.03.2022 17:14:01] >BD<Susanoo: CO: But, getting back to your question...
[31.03.2022 17:14:13] LFRS-Salem: E: Oh great, junkies with rituals.
[31.03.2022 17:14:32] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Seppuku is either voluntary or obligatory. In ancient history, samurai used the method to avoid capture by the enemy.
[31.03.2022 17:14:44] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Or to demonstrate loyalty to their lord, if they happened to fall in battle.
[31.03.2022 17:15:09] >BD<Susanoo: CO: In obligatory seppuku, it was used as a capital punishment. Like the electric chair.
[31.03.2022 17:15:30] >BD<Susanoo: CO: However, in modern Kusarian society, such things are a rarity.
[31.03.2022 17:16:18] LFRS-Salem: E: Killing prisoners, what a waste, Liberty'd say.
[31.03.2022 17:17:07] LFRS-Salem: E: All those shirts and shoes won't make themselves, you know?
[31.03.2022 17:17:41] >BD<Susanoo: CO: One of the very reasons why change needs to come to Liberty, and fast.
[31.03.2022 17:17:58] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Of course, me being on the other side of the pond, I have no reason to intervene, nor do we have the means to.
[31.03.2022 17:18:20] >BD<Susanoo: CO: But the abuse of Liberty's prisoners is rather dishonorable in my eyes.
[31.03.2022 17:18:34] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Kusari has similar methods.
[31.03.2022 17:18:42] LFRS-Salem: E: Change won't come soon. Those who tried are now being encircled.
[31.03.2022 17:19:11] >BD<Susanoo: CO: You refer to the Insurgency? They're cornered?
[31.03.2022 17:19:39] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Change... To change, there are so many paths to take. Not all change is better.
[31.03.2022 17:19:48] LFRS-Salem: E: Yeah, but I bet Auxesians can fill you in better than me.
[31.03.2022 17:19:51] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: So many ideas encapulated within individuals.
[31.03.2022 17:20:12] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Oh, we are humored by the bitter irony. Perhaps it is even karma.
[31.03.2022 17:20:41] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Well. Perhaps that leaves the Xenos as the last hope for a better Liberty.
[31.03.2022 17:22:13] LFRS-Salem: E: Perhaps, they haven't been able to to stomp us out, we grow only stronger.
[31.03.2022 17:22:44] LFRS-Salem: E: Because they are creating us, fuel fires within us.
[31.03.2022 17:23:50] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: A great warrior once said:
[31.03.2022 17:24:19] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: "If I determine the enemy's disposition while I have no perceptible form, I can concentrate my forces while the enemy is
[31.03.2022 17:24:46] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: fragmented. The pinnacle of military deployment approaches the formless: If it is formless, then even the deepest spy
[31.03.2022 17:24:57] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: cannot discern it nor the wise make plans against it. "
[31.03.2022 17:25:12] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: What the Xenos have in strength, is the ideological will, the sheer power - the /disconnection/ of collaboration.
[31.03.2022 17:25:26] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Whilst the Insurgency, huddled up in a bubble, waiting to be burst.
[31.03.2022 17:25:38] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: This was inevitable. They were all crass. Too militaristic.
[31.03.2022 17:25:52] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: They may have had the force to destroy the military - but they do not have the strength to build a nation.
[31.03.2022 17:25:59] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Had they won, they would have crumbled regardless.
[31.03.2022 17:26:19] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: The Insurgency always lacked will. It always lacked philosophical substance. It was a ravage band of individuals with
[31.03.2022 17:26:23] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: a far fetched idea of nationalism.
[31.03.2022 17:26:32] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: They preyed upon the weaker, attempting to subsume them.
[31.03.2022 17:26:53] LFRS-Salem: E: ...
[31.03.2022 17:26:58] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Yet, they now paid the price for their almost imperialistic desire. The facades of the Commonwealth had faded.
[31.03.2022 17:27:10] LFRS-Salem: E: Damn, that's pretty cool explanation.
[31.03.2022 17:27:11] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: I had foreseen this ever since the Legion Commander demanded us to act as their auxiliary force.
[31.03.2022 17:27:20] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: We declined. We left.
[31.03.2022 17:27:29] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Well, when one door closes, another opens. I wonder what will become of the Insurgency's people, caught in the middle.
[31.03.2022 17:27:45] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: I fear that some of them may not have the chance to vacate.
[31.03.2022 17:28:18] >BD<Susanoo: CO: A not uncommon scenario these days... How shameful.
[31.03.2022 17:28:23] LFRS-Salem: E: It's a mess.
[31.03.2022 17:28:48] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Had it not been for the last straws of the Insurgency's recent action against civilians, we may have offered
[31.03.2022 17:28:52] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: that opportunity to evacuate some.
[31.03.2022 17:29:03] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Unfortunately, they have decided to place a blockade upon our vessels.
[31.03.2022 17:29:24] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Not that we will agree to such, we have to help those in Kansas - the ones on expedition.
[31.03.2022 17:30:15] >BD<Susanoo: CO: I was not aware that the Insurgency had committed such dishonorable acts. We have not kept up to date with their movement.
[31.03.2022 17:30:22] LFRS-Salem: E: It's a mess.
[31.03.2022 17:30:27] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: It is no surprise, they are far from your people.
[31.03.2022 17:32:02] LFRS-Salem: E: Insurgency knows how to fight a battle, but they don't know how to win a war.
[31.03.2022 17:32:14] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Quite. Majority of them have been rather ...
[31.03.2022 17:32:29] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: I would not like to insinuate such great simplicities, but they have merely been grunts.
[31.03.2022 17:32:40] LFRS-Salem: E: Their past mistakes left them without allies.
[31.03.2022 17:33:00] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Their benefactors cannot save them.
[31.03.2022 17:34:11] >BD<Susanoo: CO: I wonder what they must be thinking right now.
[31.03.2022 17:34:23] LFRS-Salem: E: "Fuck", that's what.
[31.03.2022 17:34:33] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Desperation will shortly kick in. Perhaps they will mobilise some of the citizens they hold.
[31.03.2022 17:34:41] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Then they will realise the truth of their "Commonwealth. "
[31.03.2022 17:34:46] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: A facade for the military junta.
[31.03.2022 17:35:18] LFRS-Salem: E: There are also conflicts within Insurgency itself.
[31.03.2022 17:35:27] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: However, do not think that it will simply end there.
[31.03.2022 17:35:35] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: The Navy will continue on throughout the Independent Worlds.
[31.03.2022 17:35:42] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: You can assume why I would be displeased at such.
[31.03.2022 17:36:15] >BD<Susanoo: CO: That's the bad thing. With one big bad down, it's time to set your sights on the next.
[31.03.2022 17:36:18] LFRS-Salem: E: Depends how many resources they'll have to waste on Insurgency.
[31.03.2022 17:36:59] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: We do not know if they know the passage way to our home. We have no doubts that the Crayter would happily
[31.03.2022 17:37:07] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: supply them with military force and information.
[31.03.2022 17:37:23] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: The Zoners may not be safe there either.
[31.03.2022 17:37:28] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Assume that it's only a matter of time.
[31.03.2022 17:37:43] LFRS-Salem: E: Of course, Crayterians are happy dogs, eager to please their owners.
[31.03.2022 17:37:44] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: We have speculated for years. Ran the calculations. We have had years to prepare.
[31.03.2022 17:37:54] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Yet we cannot predict every outcome or circumstance.
[31.03.2022 17:38:02] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: There will always be anomalies.
[31.03.2022 17:38:51] >BD<Susanoo: CO: You may speculate and calculate as much as you like, but actions now will give you a better position later...
[31.03.2022 17:39:07] >BD<Susanoo: CO: I can't really preach as I don't know your positions, but I'm strictly speaking from a general standpoint.
[31.03.2022 17:39:33] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: We have already acted as necessary.
[31.03.2022 17:39:40] LFRS-Salem: E: Not up to me to decide.
[31.03.2022 17:41:05] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Good, then. If you're always two steps ahead, you won't be caught off guard.
[31.03.2022 17:41:19] LFRS-Salem: E: I suspect that navy will do some blunders on their own.
[31.03.2022 17:41:36] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: You cannot always rely upon the incompetence of their forces.
[31.03.2022 17:41:55] Nenet:Mido.: Just 90% of the time.
[31.03.2022 17:42:07] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Mmm... Ninety, yes.
[31.03.2022 17:42:52] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Liberty has the numbers advantage, I'm assuming.
[31.03.2022 17:43:03] LFRS-Salem: E: And they can afford losses.
[31.03.2022 17:43:26] LFRS-Salem: E: Their shipyards have been working around the clock.
[31.03.2022 17:43:31] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Salem, what are your experiences of the Insurgency and their forces?
[31.03.2022 17:43:38] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Do you believe them to be competent?
[31.03.2022 17:44:12] LFRS-Salem: E: Competent? Yes, they can.
[31.03.2022 17:44:22] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Can be...?
[31.03.2022 17:44:51] LFRS-Salem: E: Ahem, yes, they can be competent as they are soldiers after all.
[31.03.2022 17:45:21] LFRS-Salem: E: Some of them will even fight to the last man.
[31.03.2022 17:45:48] Nenet:Mido.: Fights usually go till there's only one left willing to fight.
[31.03.2022 17:46:02] Nenet:Mido.: So that's not really an achievement.
[31.03.2022 17:46:11] Nenet:Mido.: But hey, guess participation thropies count.
[31.03.2022 17:47:13] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Why do you ask, anyways?
[31.03.2022 17:47:31] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Thinking of scooping up what remains into your fold?
[31.03.2022 17:47:52] Nenet:Mido.: Doubt anyone likes scooping shit.
[31.03.2022 17:48:12] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: No, those with no will, or interest, have no place in our society.
[31.03.2022 17:48:18] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: We do not seek conquest.
[31.03.2022 17:48:29] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: We have no need of building an infinite army.
[31.03.2022 17:48:58] LFRS-Salem: E: I bet that Hellfires will do their last stand regardless.
[31.03.2022 17:49:38] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: If only my disdain of the Legion was capable of entering the vocabulary.
[31.03.2022 17:50:49] LFRS-Salem: E: Hmm.
[31.03.2022 17:51:29] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Their famous figurehead was a cuckold, a man of desperation with the emotional capacity of a child, with idealistic
[31.03.2022 17:51:47] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: tendencies with no realistic foundation or regard for the people.
[31.03.2022 17:52:07] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Not many people knew him like I did.
[31.03.2022 17:52:17] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Unfortunately. Or, perhaps, fortunately.
[31.03.2022 17:52:24] Nenet:Mido.: Inside out?
[31.03.2022 17:52:27] LFRS-Salem: E: Sounds personal.
[31.03.2022 17:52:35] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: One could consider it like so.
[31.03.2022 17:52:42] Nenet:Mido.: Ew.
[31.03.2022 17:52:51] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Not -- Not like that, Nenet.
[31.03.2022 17:53:01] >BD<Susanoo: CO: How vulgar.
[31.03.2022 17:53:04] Nenet:Mido.: You know exactly that I'm joking.
[31.03.2022 17:53:08] Nenet:Mido.: Probably.
[31.03.2022 17:53:09] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: I truly hope so.
[31.03.2022 17:53:37] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: The Lord Commander has not been heard from ever since the merging. Perhaps he is dead.
[31.03.2022 17:53:44] Nenet:Mido.: What's todays occasion for this radiation bath?
[31.03.2022 17:53:51] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Ah, yes... I recall, the Gaians had captured him for a brief time.
[31.03.2022 17:53:54] Nenet:Mido.: I still hate how that title sounds.
[31.03.2022 17:53:58] Nenet:Mido.: "Lord Commander"
[31.03.2022 17:54:09] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: I had to deal with them for years, Nenet. Years.
[31.03.2022 17:54:18] LFRS-Salem: E: ...
[31.03.2022 17:54:34] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: They coat their words in honey, but in reality, it was a bitter poison.
[31.03.2022 17:54:39] Nenet:Mido.: My condolences.
[31.03.2022 17:55:05] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: A poison I should have seen sooner. Thankfully, they did the revellation for me.
[31.03.2022 17:55:14] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Such coarse abuse, such disregard for others.
[31.03.2022 17:55:54] LFRS-Salem: E: Yeah... screw them.
[31.03.2022 17:55:56] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: There was... A certain research division I had been meaning to check up upon, if they still exist within Vespucci.
[31.03.2022 17:56:09] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Oh, not all Insurgents are terrible people. It was mainly the Command.
[31.03.2022 17:56:18] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Polluting the minds of the people. Giving false hope.
[31.03.2022 17:56:33] Nenet:Mido.: Lining them up for the meatgrinder.
[31.03.2022 17:56:33] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: They made people think they were fighting for an honorable cause.
[31.03.2022 17:56:49] LFRS-Salem: E: Yeah...
[31.03.2022 17:56:51] Nenet:Mido.: That's generally how it works everywhere.
[31.03.2022 17:56:53] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Lord commander? Such pleonasms are embarassing. Shogun works just fine for us.
[31.03.2022 17:57:06] Nenet:Mido.: A shotgun, a rifle, whatever works.
[31.03.2022 17:57:17] Nenet:Mido.: Wait, I added a "t".
[31.03.2022 17:57:38] Nenet:Mido.: Still, that's just one word.
[31.03.2022 17:57:43] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Mmm. You are right, Nenet, it does operate similarly everywhere. Most groups have a darker side to them.
[31.03.2022 17:57:47] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Especially the corporations.
[31.03.2022 17:57:48] Nenet:Mido.: Lord commander is awfully close to shit like "god emperor".
[31.03.2022 17:58:35] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Ah, we are no strangers to the dark sides of corporations.
[31.03.2022 17:58:43] Nenet:Mido.: Let me guess. Your propaganda promises a free battery every second month.
[31.03.2022 17:58:49] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Hahahah.
[31.03.2022 17:59:00] >BD<Susanoo: CO: *Stifles a laugh*
[31.03.2022 17:59:09] Nenet:Mido.: Up until you read the fine print, and the battery is serious bodily harm in this case.
[31.03.2022 17:59:20] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Well, we do offer free energy, you wouldn't be far off from that. Except it would be the truth.
[31.03.2022 17:59:33] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Naturally, we would expect people to exercise self restraint.
[31.03.2022 17:59:38] Nenet:Mido.: Give me that free wireless chargning.
[31.03.2022 17:59:44] Nenet:Mido.: Charging, even.
[31.03.2022 18:00:01] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Rub against a rogue asteroid here, you will guaranteed be charged up by the storm.
[31.03.2022 18:00:17] Nenet:Mido.: Oh I already feel quite radiant.
[31.03.2022 18:00:54] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: I am no fan of Samura myself, at least from what I have witnessed of their ships.
[31.03.2022 18:01:03] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Particularly those with goods going in and out of Corsair space.
[31.03.2022 18:01:17] LFRS-Salem: E: I don't like Samura either.
[31.03.2022 18:01:42] >BD<Susanoo: CO: We keep a close eye on them, although there isn't much we can do about their out of house activities.
[31.03.2022 18:02:03] >BD<Susanoo: CO: They're shipping to the Corsairs now, too?
[31.03.2022 18:02:26] >BD<Susanoo: CO: We knew they had many dealings outside of Kusari, but the specifics of which tend to be unclear.
[31.03.2022 18:02:37] LFRS-Salem: E: No clue who Corsairs are aside from scary rumors, passed from spacer to spacer.
[31.03.2022 18:03:08] >BD<Susanoo: CO: You'd do best to steer clear of them. They're just as ferocious in a fight as the Outcasts.
[31.03.2022 18:03:30] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Hm. "Pirates" who are intent on conquest, simply putting it. They are very traditionalistic, a warrior type of society.
[31.03.2022 18:03:51] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: A bloody war goes on between them and the Outcasts and Hessians.
[31.03.2022 18:03:56] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: They are formidable opponents.
[31.03.2022 18:04:01] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Most of the time.
[31.03.2022 18:04:05] Nenet:Mido.: Pirates, but return to monkey edition.
[31.03.2022 18:04:10] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: They are very ... primitive.
[31.03.2022 18:04:20] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Did you manage to catch what the Samura transports were shipping?
[31.03.2022 18:04:33] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: They are known for tarnishing unique sites of scientific interest.
[31.03.2022 18:04:33] LFRS-Salem: E: I don't think they've ever ventured in here. But whatever, we'll give them a warm welcome.
[31.03.2022 18:04:41] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Artifacts. I believe we have also caught some with food.
[31.03.2022 18:06:05] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Nothing too controversial, then. But the shipment of artifacts might be a little problem for them if word got out.
[31.03.2022 18:06:23] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Most would not believe such evidence, believing it to be fabrication.
[31.03.2022 18:06:54] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Corporations runs the backbone of some Houses.
[31.03.2022 18:07:43] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Samura pulls the strings here, though their grip has weakened in recent times ever since Kishiro got stronger.
[31.03.2022 18:08:03] >BD<Susanoo: CO: So you're right, such a thing would not rock the boat.
[31.03.2022 18:08:08] Nenet:Mido.: From one corporation to the other.
[31.03.2022 18:09:46] >BD<Susanoo: CO: All that talk about batteries reminded me about something I was supposed to ask an Auxo the next time I saw one.
[31.03.2022 18:09:58] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Hm.
[31.03.2022 18:10:04] Nenet:Mido.: Is leaving my PDA on low charge considered torture?
[31.03.2022 18:10:22] >BD<Susanoo: CO: You don't happen to offer maintenance or enhancements to outsiders, I suppose?
[31.03.2022 18:10:36] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Define maintenance or enhancements.
[31.03.2022 18:10:43] >BD<Susanoo: CO: There has been a recent addition to our flock that happens to be a unique case.
[31.03.2022 18:11:02] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: We have public commissions for engineering work, as well as some bio-medical.
[31.03.2022 18:11:07] LFRS-Salem: E: Let me guess - teenage looking robogirl.
[31.03.2022 18:11:11] >BD<Susanoo: CO: They've been heavily modified with what appears to be military AP tech.
[31.03.2022 18:11:14] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: -- ... What?
[31.03.2022 18:12:04] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Oh, pah, I wonder if they still use cadmium within their designs.
[31.03.2022 18:12:14] >BD<Susanoo: CO: So the Shogun was wondering if the likes of your kind would be willing to provide support in return for payment, or favors.
[31.03.2022 18:12:35] LFRS-Salem: E: Is it a robogirl?
[31.03.2022 18:12:40] Nenet:Mido.: 40 pieces of Core malware.
[31.03.2022 18:12:45] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: You will need to elaborate upon 'support' - what do you wish to be done?
[31.03.2022 18:12:54] Nenet:Mido.: A robotic pat on the back.
[31.03.2022 18:13:04] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: To have genetic therapy in effort to retain their organic part? Replace the fraudulent AP parts?
[31.03.2022 18:13:28] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: We generally do not advise utilizing AP products. They are designed to make the wearer require frequent 'maintenance'
[31.03.2022 18:13:38] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: More money for the Core. Having to buy replacements.
[31.03.2022 18:13:50] >BD<Susanoo: CO: I suppose that explains why I've been tasked with this.
[31.03.2022 18:14:17] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Most of their modifications are from AP. I'm not sure if they'd be willing to trade them in for new ones from Auxo, though.
[31.03.2022 18:14:24] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Just a little proposal for now.
[31.03.2022 18:14:27] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Send a communication, one of the more appropriate individuals can respond to such.
[31.03.2022 18:14:58] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Fair enough. I doubted I was just going to walk into the right person.
[31.03.2022 18:15:12] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Our "pure technology" is not shared - mainly due to safety reasons, but we do have technology suited for outsiders.
[31.03.2022 18:15:19] LFRS-Salem: E: ... I'm so grateful that I don't need any enhancements.
[31.03.2022 18:15:24] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: You may have.
[31.03.2022 18:16:09] >BD<Susanoo: CO: I'm assuming what you offer to outsiders is not military grade.
[31.03.2022 18:16:38] >BD<Susanoo: CO: They would need cybernetics of a similar caliber to what they have now. If not repaired.
[31.03.2022 18:16:38] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: On the contrary, there are some available.
[31.03.2022 18:17:48] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Color me surprised, then. Sounds like a good venture.
[31.03.2022 18:19:31] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: There has been some ...
[31.03.2022 18:19:39] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Grey areas regarding the history of the Dragons between us.
[31.03.2022 18:19:58] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Long ago, a Shogunate of yours -- well, I could barely consider them such - had attacked ours without provocation
[31.03.2022 18:20:21] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: upon exiting the Baffin entry. It was a mere delegation convoy.
[31.03.2022 18:20:36] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: We assume - this individual or otherwise the representing group - was operating under the
[31.03.2022 18:20:39] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: pretense of the Order.
[31.03.2022 18:20:49] Nenet:Mido.: Guess their shogun wanted total war.
[31.03.2022 18:20:52] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Anticipate ques-
[31.03.2022 18:20:55] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: [...]
[31.03.2022 18:21:02] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: ... questioning... a-about -
[31.03.2022 18:21:08] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: your ties with the Order a-and involvement.
[31.03.2022 18:21:30] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Nenet, you hurt me with your sheer unpredictable self.
[31.03.2022 18:21:32] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Whoever you met before us is long gone, and is not us.
[31.03.2022 18:21:47] >BD<Susanoo: CO: I know all too well about the misdeeds of prior cliques.
[31.03.2022 18:21:57] >BD<Susanoo: CO: It's why our leader came to us in the first place.
[31.03.2022 18:22:11] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: If you do not mind, who may that be?
[31.03.2022 18:22:58] Nenet:Mido.: I noticed.
[31.03.2022 18:23:26] Nenet:Mido.: My brain is probably melting out here, so you'll have to deal with it.
[31.03.2022 18:24:45] >BD<Susanoo: CO: You require their name?
[31.03.2022 18:25:21] LFRS-Salem: E: Bodily measurements'd be weird.
[31.03.2022 18:25:43] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Well... I am intending to inquire for the name, purely for communication purposes.
[31.03.2022 18:25:46] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Should it come to it.
[31.03.2022 18:27:40] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Their name is Ubukata Tsuya.
[31.03.2022 18:27:54] Nenet:Mido.: Guess I'll head out.
[31.03.2022 18:27:55] Nenet:Mido.: Later.
[31.03.2022 18:27:58] 2022-03-31 22:27:58 SMT Traffic control alert: Nenet:Mido. has requested to dock
[31.03.2022 18:28:06] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Farewell.
[31.03.2022 18:28:17] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Ah. Noted. I do not believe I have heard of them.
[31.03.2022 18:29:25] >BD<Susanoo: CO: As I've said, fairly recent change in management. But don't worry yourself over pointless attacks like what you mentioned.
[31.03.2022 18:29:42] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: The historical ties with the Order remain. It is wise of them to be cautious about such.
[31.03.2022 18:29:53] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: The Order has made every effort to undermine our scientific community.
[31.03.2022 18:30:39] >BD<Susanoo: CO: So you want to question us on our relation to the Order?
[31.03.2022 18:31:11] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: The Directorate will need to understand it.
[31.03.2022 18:31:47] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: To determine if you are autonomous or dependent of them.
[31.03.2022 18:33:06] LFRS-Salem: E: Helm, move us in, let's pic.. let's do our stuff.
[31.03.2022 18:33:10] 2022-03-31 22:33:10 SMT Traffic control alert: LFRS-Salem has requested to dock
[31.03.2022 18:33:17] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Do not see it as an act of hostilities. Only of caution. Lest we wish to be backstabbed again.
[31.03.2022 18:33:33] >BD<Susanoo: CO: I can tell you now that our relation to them is strictly correlated with the extermination of Nomad threats within Kusari.
[31.03.2022 18:33:37] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Nothing more.
[31.03.2022 18:33:56] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Excellent. They have been known to use such reason to labels individuals for elimination.
[31.03.2022 18:33:56] >BD<Susanoo: CO: I cannot say the same for those that came before us.
[31.03.2022 18:34:01] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Or certain organisations.
[31.03.2022 18:34:30] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: I need not to remind you to seek evidence against the validity of claims, information is another form of warfare.
[31.03.2022 18:35:03] >BD<Susanoo: CO: We have our own methods of identifying Nomads. If we believe a label like that is faulty, we can figure it out ourselves.
[31.03.2022 18:35:24] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Wonderous. The Crayter, were not so bright in that regard, unfortunately.
[31.03.2022 18:35:32] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Besides, our concern is only within Kusari.
[31.03.2022 18:35:52] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: How do you fare with the Genan Chrysanthemums along with their Outcast benefactors?
[31.03.2022 18:36:18] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: And what of Kishiro, if Samura is in distaste?
[31.03.2022 18:36:47] LFRS-Salem: E: Have fun, folks. Helm - get us home.
[31.03.2022 18:36:47] >BD<Susanoo: CO: We do not interact with the Outcasts much, if at all.
[31.03.2022 18:36:59] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Farewell, Salem.
[31.03.2022 18:37:52] >BD<Susanoo: CO: The GC are our friend in rebellion, but their reliance and spread of cardamine does not earn them any future favors.
[31.03.2022 18:38:19] >BD<Susanoo: CO: We only cooperate with GC against our common enemy in Kusari.
[31.03.2022 18:39:22] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Kishiro is more inclined to assist us rather than be a detriment to us, considering they have a rivalry with Samura.
[31.03.2022 18:39:32] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Though, no efforts to do so have been made.
[31.03.2022 18:39:40] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: I understand. And I trust the Core hasn't been a problem? I recall them attempting ties with Kusari elements
[31.03.2022 18:39:51] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: last during my time as a Guildkeeper.
[31.03.2022 18:40:27] >BD<Susanoo: CO: As far as I'm aware, the Core has yet to even show their faces in Kusari after the rise of our shogunate.
[31.03.2022 18:40:53] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Then their "diplomatic" quest has failed - though I do not hold any doubts that the Kusari Intelligence has broken their

[31.03.2022 18:41:59] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Anything else?
[31.03.2022 18:42:36] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Nothing more, the Directorate will handle it. It isn't my job to always handle these.
[31.03.2022 18:43:17] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Very well, then. I suppose that makes this conversation concluded, unless you've anything to add.
[31.03.2022 18:44:11] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: I don't believe there is much to talk about. If what you say is for certain, then the Core is occupied.
[31.03.2022 18:44:48] >BD<Susanoo: CO: I'm sure they have their hands tied in whatever they want to do with the Omicrons.
[31.03.2022 18:45:17] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Indeed, but do not assume their influence may end there. Their financial ties to every House is worrying as is.
[31.03.2022 18:45:32] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Interspace Commerce owns a majority share within APM.
[31.03.2022 18:45:44] >BD<Susanoo: CO: Of course. They're glorified bounty hunters after all.
[31.03.2022 18:45:48] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Which - in turn - is driving the Core.
[31.03.2022 18:47:13] >BD<Susanoo: CO: In any case, I suppose it's about time for me to turn this thing around. Superiors will start to wonder where I'm at.
[31.03.2022 18:47:39] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Reasonable.
[31.03.2022 18:47:44] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Farewell, Dragon.
