Mister Johnson,

I'm glad to see a new application from the Secondary Fleet. Your disciplinary record gives me pause for concern, though, I trust that you will maintain the highest of standards at all times; as is dutifully required of all Naval Officers. On them grounds, I am pleased to advise you that your application is hereby ACCEPTED. From this moment on, you are now a serving RECRUIT of the Liberty Navy, Fourty-sixth Fleet.

Once you have proven yourself worth of a full-time position and assignment within the Fleet, you will formally begin your career with us and receive promotion to the rank of ENSIGN, until then, give us your best and you will receive the same in return.
