He watched the odd woman spring back to life the exact moment the drinks arrived, revealing she wasn't actually as relaxed as she had made it look. Still very much aware, her intense eyes had returned to his singular eye, the only one he currently had, and he returned with an intense stare of his own, unblinking as it had remained since their arrival. His eye glanced down to the hand that held the whiskey glass, inspecting it to see the state of hand, perhaps looking to see if it was anything like his, before his eye returned to hers. His scarred hand reached out to grip the glass as she brought it directly to him.

He held it silently, swirling the whiskey in the glass idly as he waited to see what she wanted to do as her movements thus far had been very deliberate. A toast, a competition, trying to see his reaction to her, it was hard to tell. She was difficult to read with the sporadic behavior, yet still, he watched.
