The man's facial expression remained just as neutral as it had always been, staring into her eyes silently, his gaze deepened as he observed her sudden shift to pure positivity. Noting the smile that ran across her stunning face. She had a background in one of the more violent places in the sector. Yet she didn't seemingly have many imperfections to her face. Rather odd. As she took the whiskey down all at once without so much as a shift of facial expression he gave a low amused chuckle. Lifting his glass to do the same without so much as a twitch of his eye or lip. Placing the glass back down as he registered how smooth it was he watched her blow out the smoke away from him. Consideration, positivity and consideration, a beaming gaze and warm, genuine smile. He couldn't place her, swapping between façade and mask, running from a past life, to a genuine happy go lucky personality archetype.

His body shifted, curving his back forward seemingly to stretch before it straightened again, bringing his left ankle up onto his right knee as his right hand slid further forward on his thigh. His left arm returning to its crossed position on the edge of the table as he waited to see if that was what she waiting for or something else. The premium she was currently stoking between her lips was odd to him, the rest of her body language and personality wouldn't have eluded to that kind of taste, yet she was an ex guild mistress, with that in mind, despite the glaringly outlandish personality for the position, it made sense.

His voice lifted to ask outright now.

"So why the invitation?"
