Right. We both know how hard it is to get an already implemented feature removed than not to let it get implemented in the first place.

I don't understand - how is the sell price relevant here , people are already setting whatever price they want, very high sometimes.

This change affects literally only miners that have no affiliation to the PoB they are filling, not traders

If anything the market will become more competitive as more PoBs will be filled as it's easier and more straightforward to make profit off of that. Buyers can still choose exactly the same way who they buy from.


Only traders affected negatively are those that used 3rd party PoBs with open buy sell that solo mined to haul themselves on a bigger ship

dont just give one sided opinions on something thats not even in the game yet
look at it from both sides

POB owners could buy ores from miners at say - 1,500sc/u and then sell it for 2,000 for example
doesn't both sides still profit? Miners are earning a fair bit, Owners are earning extra for having to upkeep their base and for providing storage whilst transports naturally pay slightly more for being able to acquire ore without a miner
imo those that spam fill a POB just to afk trade the ores later should be able to pay the extra price anyway - rich as f*ck people since thats what they do for half a day (i have done this once or twice before so i know)

the only issue i see is that if the POB owners are complete d*ickheads and set absurd prices for the ores then yes the transports suffer, in which case its better to just ask around for a miner or dont solo trade
but if the owners are reasonable and set their prices not too much higher than the usual then it should be fine - depends on how much or less of a d*ckhead the owner is

You don't have to tell me that because I already did look at it from both sides. Miners are not earning a fair bit at all. Any miner's standard price for filling a 5ker is 15mil @ 3k per unit. PoBs already sell ore for 2.5k to 4k per unit if you buy ore from them. If miners earn 1.5-2.5k, it is much worse as it will take two people to do the job, one to mine, another to haul ore to the PoB; and using Hegemon is much slower to mine, harder to handle in asteroid fields, and almost half the cargo space.

Ore is already sold in PoBs at fair prices mostly. And PoB owners either fill their base by themselves or contract corporations to do the job with a fair payment. If anything, people will use this to pay lesser than reasonable if anyone tries to sell to the PoB.
