We happened to come across a patrol of KNF fighters, a mix of heavy and a medium fighter at the time of arrival. We were just throwing a few words at each other until they brought a cruiser with them to the fight and opened fire. While in the fight I believe I saw another cruiser and a gunboat turn up to join in the fight on the KNF side, hai the KNF had to bring capital ships to try and beat us, this means they are scared of our piloting skills they need to out gun us to feel safe.
My ship was disabled during the fight and managed to luge it back to the nearest friendly station to get her in for repairs.
Over the communications link on the Dragon Claw Network, I seen that some of our fighters were taken down but a few managed to keep strong and defeated the last remaining fighters while their capital ships pulled back. Only one fighter made a return without having their ship toed back for repairs or their escape pod rescued. That is still a win over the KNF in my books. One less patrol to worry about in Kyushu.
One step at a time and we will take Kusari back as ours.
