BIOGRAPHY : Born on an asteroid miner in the Dresden system, Astri has been a lifelong spacer, going from ship to ship as she grew up. She never had especially lofty aspirations, as one who never set foot on a planet. The expectation of her was to spend her life mining for the Daumann corporation, or Kruger, or whoever else deigned to sign her paycheck on any given day, just as the last two generations of her family had. What was worse for Astri though is that everyone around her seemed.. okay with this? She wasn't content with living in servitude to a largely uncaring Federal government. She wanted more than that, she hated that she was relegated to what society assigned her. As a result, she is looking to escape, to find something new, more in line with what she truly believes. Perhaps, even working to overthrow the government she has come to despise.
