This is a worrying set of circumstances. Up until now, the only AI vessels we have seen have been the drones and the cruiser-class vessels. My own nephew just recently had an encounter with a non-hostile AI cruiser in Omicron Delta.
The engineers at Tripoli shipyard want more information on this new ship class. High-resolution pictures, ship scans and combat data if applicable. We recommend using stealth and extreme caution. Success will be rewarded.
Remember, the AI are usually not our enemy. Deterrence takes a case-by-case stance regarding the AI due to high variance in their neural networks. Don't go rushing in there guns blazing or insulting them as "Tin Cans", test the waters before you go accidentally sparking a war where one isn't needed.

P.S. Has anyone seen my latest shipment of Tawny Port from Gallia? It was supposed to arrive last week. 1,000,000sc to the first tempeli who "finds" my 10 cases of Port and delivers it to Crete, with a report as to where you found it and what happened to the freighter carrying it. Award will be adjusted for any missing bottles.
