I am pleased to announce that upon my sincere recommendation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs & Justice has appointed Matsushima Shigeru to the position of Keishi (superintendent) of the Kusari State Police, effective immediately and to serve at the pleasure of the Minister. Matsushima-san will be involved in officer management, including training and discipline, and will participate in the overall management of operations of the force. Please join me in congratulating Matsushima-san.
