Background:

Born on planet Pittsburgh, comes from a working lower-class family. Spent most of his younger age working as a welder. In 816 A.S. when tensions between Liberty and Rheinland were rising, he decided to enlist to West Point academy and enlist the Navy Reserve Fleet. After graduating the West Point with flying colors, he became the Commanding Officer of LNS Nathan James, a Liberty "Archer"-class Siege Cruiser. In 817 A.S. Liberty has officially declared a war on Rheinland.

817-819 A.S.

During the beginning of the war, LNS Nathan James was deployed all over Hudson and Bering supporting the Primary Fleet and rest of the Liberty forces during the fights they had. During the period, Chandler adapted quite well as a Commander of a Siege Cruiser, the battle experience quite benefited and honed his skills and knowledge of space battles in general.

819-820 A.S.

LNS Nathan James was sent back to home systems for repairs and well deserved rest for the crew, they were mainly assigned to stop the increased activity of Libertonian Pirate groups while the war was coming to an end as Rheinland disabled Hudson, Bering and eventually the Hamburg jump gates. Chandler was opposed to a decision like that, since he didn't believe he should fight other Libertonians, no matter if they were pirates, in his eyes, they were people struggling to survive in Liberty's economy.

820-823 A.S.

LNS Nathan James was deployed once more, but now on the other front. To Bretonia to assist Armed Forces in repelling a Gallic invasion. Nathan James was present in battles for Planet Leeds and in California. Near the end of battle in California, Nathan James was severely damaged and sent back to Norfolk for repairs. Nathan James has lost some of it's crew in the battle, after what Chandler requested to be moved to a 'desk' position due to his internal conflicts.

829 A.S. -

All of a sudden, Chandler has decided to transfer back to command Nathan James once more, to his surprise, most of his high ranking officer were still on board the bridge, eagerly waiting for his return to lead them on a new path.
