As my father and my grandfather I became a miner. We have always lived in the same place on the planet Hamburg. As independent mining became less valuable with all the big companies around and the civil war straining the Rheinland economy, I came looking to work for a bigger company. I have 2 sons. One wants to join in my footsteps, the other one wants to join the military. I didn't agree. Because of that, our relation has become a bit strained, but we're still on speaking terms.
