Hey,

It's been a while since I was speaking over this frequency, I hope everything is alright back home. I'm happy to tell you that my ship has passed through all flight and system trials in Ontario system. All weapons are operational, our heavily modified engines are working as they should and my officers have already re-learned how to operate our ship after such extensive modifications.

For those who haven't been involved around my ship, the Roanoke is now flying under Free Republic, but we're as a separate unit - that fancy phoenix unit insignia in my comm - at least for now.
I haven't been testing my ship in direct combat yet, but from what I can tell - no, we won't be able to attack the Navy directly - we're just one capital ship, two with the Harmony in the best case scenario, and that'd be quite a stupid thing to do as any damage sustained would be more costly for us than for them. Instead, we'll be focusing on serving as a mobile, agile and heavily armed base to fit your standing fighter oriented doctrine. For that end, we have lightened our battlecruiser to be faster than regular Interdictors at the cost of some armor plating.

We'll be limiting myself only to systems like Ontario, Colorado and Kepler to get more familiar with our territory. We used to operate in Texas, Kansas and Vespucci, but those days are long gone. I'll be also thinking about what to do with the Toronto station and how we can help with any possible salvage operations. We can also assist wherever needed as long as we'll have some escorts on our way through Liberty - to prevent any Naval or Rogue ambushes along the way to our destination and back.
