CAPTAINS LOG - Entry #30: A twist

After waiting for a week in the fields around the Freeport, we had ended up with little other choice but to approach the station for new supplies.
It shouldn't come as a surprise that the station was rather hesitant at first, a capital vessel coming out of nowhere is already intimidating enough, let alone when it isn't one of the 'locals'.
After telling our story they became a little more sympathetic and some of our wings were able to carry over some supplies, in exchange for much desired credits.

That in and of itself wasn't the surprising part today however.
While we were near the Freeport, we were discovered by a Corsair. A sole Corsair would have a hard time dealing with the Torment, beat up as it is, but if they smelled blood surely more would come.
But lo and behold, my concerns turned out to be unjustified. He was our contact. Mister Leon, in his wisdom, decided to send us to THE CORSAIRS.

*audible groan*
Well, not much to be done about it now.
This 'Matteo' is captain of the CNS-Parebellum and wants to negotiate in the bar of the Freeport.
I suppose its time for some diplomacy.

Small memo to myself, punch Leon if I ever get the chance.
