Horatio felt embarrassed by the remarks, moreso as he had looked down on the Crayter citizens, in part due to their past and adamant attitude to remain "free". But duty called, and he could not simply await another day. The time to act was now.

Claiming back his place adjacent to the hologram display, but nevertheless not taking a seat, he referred to the guests. "We agree with the stated terms, however with only one difference. Neither the Intelligence Service of Bretonia nor that of Crayter, as far as we understand, are capable of maintaining such large contingents. It is neither useful nor productive to reside more than a total of 2,000 personnel, and that is what we have amended. I also wish to state the we agree with the approach suggested in point four of the economic articles, as it is important for Crayter to hastily rebuilding its holding in Tau-Fourthy-Four."

Turning to the hologram, the displayed the proposal and awaited the final reply, yet not before bringing up the fact that he had offered his signature for theirs.

"This is our amendment to the treaty. You will see to it that I have also added my signature so that we finish this chapter of history at a swift pace. Not to forget, I must also mention that, as I represent the Armed Forces, and Director Steiner, the Intelligence Service, this proposal will also have to pass through the Prime Minister's office for approval. It will be announced over the diplomatic channel once our part of the agreement is ratified and approved by the Sir Jones."

Bartholomew had completed his part, now. Returning to his seat, the Crayter delegates examined and the proposal, whilst Steiner too awaited their reply before submitting his own signature.
