A grave setback in the Insurgency campaign is upon us. What we were afraid of has happened. At least part of the Insurgent capital fleet has managed to evacuate Vespucci and has now merged with the Xenos.
The FRS-Raonoke carries the Xeno transponder openly, while sporting Insurgency weapons and a stolen Interdictor class Assault Battlecruiser in Ontario.
Admiral Dylan Brandt, the President, and the Congress were right - we had to move swiftly on the Insurgents, no matter the cost. Unfortunately despite the grave sacrifices, we have not forced fast enough through their defense positions, they seem to have integrated with the Xenos and regrouped in the now lost Ontario. We are currently dealing with the unified front of the Xenos AND the insurgency, in what our analysts have coined the Xenosurgency.
I am not sure what to make of this situation. We are committed to cleansing Vespucci and we will do just that with the help of the Ohio Battlegroup and my men, women, and officers beyond the binary. But the battle for Ontario has just begun.
