Enterprise has been looming at the rendevous point for ample time, anticipating escorts' arrival, an area secure to the point not even local inhabitants, the Technocrats, are yet to make a move on attempting to repossess the valuable warship; this was no reason to let guard down, this merely meant majority of blockades are lying ahead. Little doubt there is that just about anyone along the way will be eager to lay hands on the Enterprise - or destroy it should the blockade plans fail.

Thach audibly scoffed at Linford's remark.

"If your sense of duty tells you to stay behind a die a meaningless death then there's something wrong with it, Jade. That's not what Lance risked her all for, and not what she asked me to take you out. And with the support I've garnered... we might be able to get you back on feet, so don't get sulking over wasted time and efforts just yet. But that's all to sort out once we're out to safety - for a given amount of safety Omicrons provide."

The radar blared with multiple contacts emerging from West Alvemore, a total of four, identified as Order ships - the escorts have arrived in the nick of time, tight-beam short range transmission reaching communication and navigation officers mere moments after, the support party spent no time on idle waiting or chatter. More power was diverted to monolithic, titanic fusion drive accelerating the massive vessel past aforementioned nominal flank speed - to sub-relativistic.
Massive warship had lost most of it's gloss it had right after commission - meeting it's baptism of fire in hands of a different commanding officer in Bering, as well as subsequent incorporation into Insurgency, where it fought a fighting retreat all the way to Vespucci, that have temporarily became it's base operations for raids into adjacent systems. Clearly, it have seen proper maintenance shortly before departure in an actual drydock, though it's exact disposition remains unknown; even replaced plating were littered with energy weapon marks of all sizes, reinforced and restored to operative nominal values.

Either way, Enterprise now plotting course and surging through cold emptiness of space looked rather like a war-steeled veteran, scarred, but not crippled - she is still able to stand up to nearly anyone and emerge victorious - it depends not only on the excelling mastodon.

To Michal, a short message was an answer.

"Course is plotted and Enterprise is on the move."
