New logo in the making - Feedback is welcome

@Tenshi Kuonji, Thank you very much for the detailed feedback, but please let me clarify some points
First of all, NSE is not a liberty corporation, and it is not a faction. NSE is a Freelancer installation and its HQ is in Bretonia house space.
The idea of using copper color and how you analyze it is amazing, so I tried this attempt.

1.- I know isn't a liberty corp, but the logo show the colors of republic of liberty (blue with red and so on) will be more fit like it was something like USI or so ... is ... weird
2.- I love be able to analyze almost everything in this cases, i just do a better analysis with you, cause personally i belive we have good mate relationships~ and for something i like i must give my best effort of it.
3.- I belive every person here is telling you the Logo you had is actually fitted for the best for you, personally i just use the kinda of color and meaning because you know ... "Alloy" everything you done surely require a lot of Alloy/SuperAlloy or something like that (and remember actually best heatsinks are made from copper)
4.- The reason why your old logo is nice is cause the color shades, as @Kauket tell you, the picture don't have sufficent negative and not sufficent background to make letters to make it attention, actually it lost cause you use literally the same color scheme, since background looks a lot like letter color, you miss the nicely visual you get in the old logo (i can't name how it names actually, cause i am not a designer, but i really try the best)
what i wanna say is "NSE" in first picture is lost cause same or visually same color is done there, with background ... in the old logo the letters are highlighted because your dark accent ... as i told you, your old logo has style in it.
Background dark (as i imagine is kinda boring, but misterious) and then, something is done right (NSE) brighten with Copper-ish color, i just belive and since you have installation in bretonia (which have that shades too) that is the reason why it feels a lot of good stuff in your old logo ...
uhm...sorry if i get to confuse you ... i just can't make my ideas go on fluently at 4:00am by doing lot more things :'( but i hope i help you a little bit
