Guten Abend Officers,

stationed near Brandenburg Station in sector C5, i was approached by Oberleutnant Riese and Bootsmann Fischer. While the area was clear of civilian and commercial traffic, i used the opportunity to fill Riese in on the most recent encounters.
During our stay we had no irregular occurrences, construction on Forschungsinstitut Arnsberg continues flawlessly by the looks of it.

To paint a clearer picture for Riese and Fischer, i decided to show both of them the spots of interest i had recently mentioned. We moved to Wildau Station, then Planet New Berlin and headed out to sector F4. A subsequent patrol of the Aachenfeld was cut short, as the RNC-Oberau relayed information about a Hessian in the area. Returning to Planet New Berlin, we found no traces of the Oberau nor the criminal.

We resumed my initial course of teaching about the most dangerous or frequented areas by taking the lane network to Essen Station and the nearby Ruhrfeld. Where we found the Oberau again - the battleship was investigating a supposedly illegal station. After a quick examination we concluded it must've been a simple mistake in IFF systems, as the station was friendly to Riese, Fischer and myself.

During this time Bootsmann Fischer received a communication by the Bretonian Merchant Navy, which he then relayed to Riese and me. Herr Turner Shaw inquired about the possibility of safe passage through Rheinland space, which was granted. Thus, we plotted a course to Elbe Border Fortress in Omega-7 - the rendezvous point with Herr Shaw.
After a standard cargo inspection and verification of previously transmitted information, we began our escort. The way through Stuttgart was free of criminal activity, same with New Berlin and parts of Hamburg we had to cross in order to reach Herr Shaw's destination. That being Alster Shipyard.

After the Anguilla had exchanged her cargo and picked up new goods for Bretonia, the RNC-Ostkantone joined our efforts. A Hessian turned up on scanners shortly afterwards. I, once more, assured the Anguilla of having continuous safe passage through Rheinland. At first he kept his distance, but got too close near the jump gate. Therefore i ordered Riese and Fischer to break formation and prevent any further attempts at endangering the Merchant Navy vessel. Ostkantone and me proceeded to escort Herr Shaw. At Brandenburg Station a Freelancer was informed about the activity in Hamburg and contracted by the crew of the Ostkantone to assist if need be. The remaining way was free of any further disturbances. Herr Shaw and me parted ways at Elbe Border Fortress in Omega-7.

Ostkantone and me regrouped in sector D5, then proceeded to return to Hamburg. To our surprise, a Corsair had showed up as well. Calling herself the Crimson Queen. Having taken out the Freelancer, her sights were set on us, while the Hessian retreated. Riese restocked and engaged, while Ostkantone and me kept the jump gate secure.
After a while the Hessian returned, this was when it dawned on me. That particular pilot had managed to disable my ship in Omega-7 not too long ago and seemed hellbent on doing the exact same thing again. Counting on clouded judgement by emotional instability, i decided to provoke a bit more before moving in to combat him. Hitman Lock entered the Hamburg system during these fights and was ordered by the RNC-Ostkantone to assist. At this point a few of my ship's systems started to show unexpected readings again, while a Unioner cruiser approached. An immense ion storm washed over the sector, which forced all present vessels to clear the area. Communications were down and navigational systems extremely disturbed.
