Guten Abend Officers,
after lying in wait for artifact smugglers to show up near the jump gate to Hudson in Hamburg, i altered my position and encountered three Junkers near Planet Hamburg. Leutnant Schmidt came from the planet's surface and started to interact with some of the Junkers, as i uncloaked only moments later.
One of them was carrying illegal equipment, namely two variants of, according to his own statements, still operational Nomad tech. In addition to that two Unioner pilots. As we were inquiring about the source of this alien technology, he explained to us to have found them in a remote Liberty system. Due to a damaged navigational computer, he was only able to give us the first and last two letters of the system in question - "A...KA". Schmidt left at this moment, to relay this information immediately. I remained and continued to find out more about the nature of this system, what the Junker experienced and if there was more. I assume he might be open to conduct more operations like this, should the Oberkommando deem it a worthwhile venture.
Nomad tech was confiscated, pilots taken in. Due to the provided information and lack of prior transgressions, i issued no fine.
