Guten Abend Officers,
late in the evening, while talking to a previously escorted out Freelancer with the callsign 'Bluefin' (Rheinwehr Report #2562) in Sigma-15, a Kruger vessel broadcasted a system-wide distress call. My current company decided to tag along and assist me in my task - about the same time Revenant from the Technocracy of Auxo entered Sigma-15 to check up on me. With her being on site already, Bluefin and me made our way to the Nordsee Cloud.
Upon entering my sensor array began to cease functioning properly - or the other party concealed their transmission. Whatever the case, i received a warning which came at the right time. I was more reluctant than usual to approach the source of the distress call. My readings where inconclusive, something i, at that time, blamed on the Nordsee and its interference. The more we investigated, the more that distress call seemed like a trap. Eventually, i got closer to make up for unclear scanner readings - at which time it all took a turn for the worse. An AI was at the scene now as well, attempting to understand what that supposed Kruger vessel was all about. Bluefin, already busy with towing, was ordered back by me, while Revenant helped me to see what truly went on here. A sort of hybrid vessel from the Nomads, now that i look back at this encounter it was clear attempts on influencing my mind were made by it.
I wish to point out that both Revenant and Bluefin - perhaps even that AI - prevented far worse from happening by allowing me to snap out of it and assisting not just against the vessel in question, but also ensure i found my back to a more secure location.
