Guten Abend Offiziere.
Please find attached the neural net logs of my assigned areas as pertaining to mission AX76NG (Codename = Blumen).
Thuringia.
As outlined, I proceeded to Thuringia System at best speed to begin my scouting run. The grid was split into two outbound legs, beginning and ending at Bayern (Path 1, Path 2). I was directed to land at Weimar to physically acquire the latest Unstrut safe ingress zones. Although I planned to navigate around the field, the MND rep suggested that I pay a visit to Sommerda and update them on my mission. I naturally understood the meaning behind this "request", and acted accordingly. As part of my ingress, I confirmed the lack of activity at Heldrungen and current location of Siemensstadt (unchanged).
During the second leg of my run, I passed an MND vessel performing live-fire exercises. The vessel reported potential renegade activity in the system, which prompted me to make a loop around Valhalla (transcript log). Regretfully, there has been another breach - a light general-purpose craft towards the Hamburg jump anomaly. I disabled this vessel and managed to acquire the ejected pilot intact (designation: The Wild). He did not reply to my comms, but I am sure interrogators at Kolleda will have better luck. This concluded the first part of my mission.
Cologne
Upon arriving at Altenburg, I was once again assigned two legs which loosely covered the system (Path 1, Path 2). The first leg took me past the Karlsruhe wreck (alloy concentration unchanged). At the end of the first leg, I detected a faint signal in Steinfurt's orbit. Upon closer investigation, I uncovered a loose collection of modular containers in poor repair (designation: Altenberg Depot). A brief search of my nav databanks failed to confirm official registry of this base in Rheinland.
Before I had a chance to contact Altenburg for additional orders, my scanners detected the presence of vessel nearby. Upon communicating with the captain, I learned that this member of the Core seemed to have gotten lost inside the Norddrauwolke. I escorted this individual (codename: Faith) to Altenburg and awaited further instructions. An Oberleutnant swiftly contacted me with orders to have the individual escorted to the edge of Rhineland space. Faith requested that they be taken as close as possible to an ingress to the Omicron Systems. Upon review of my neural net nav data, I confirmed with Altenburg that Passau in Munich should have the most up-to-date information about local anomalies which connect to that sector. The escort mission was uneventful, and we made good time to Passau. Upon confirmation of the authority, Passau forwarded me the latest location of the Omicron Xi anomaly, to which I directed Faith. As I did not have clearance to proceed into the Storm, I lingered long enough to see the Core vessel on its way (transcript log).
After returning back to Cologne, I proceeded with the second leg of my assignment in this system. This was mostly uneventful: I confirmed for the astronomers at Heisenberg that Longerich continues to resist advanced scanning equipment (drone footage).
Getting back into high-bandwidth comms range with Heisenberg resulted in a scanner anomaly in my systems. Upon further investigation, the anomaly was centered at a Freelancer-piloted vessel (codename: Charlie,Jukins. WARNING: Neural net log unavailable). After getting into range for a detailed scan, I detected two nomad prototype weapons mounted on the vessel. The cargo of the vessel hold also contained illicit light arms, but I focused my interrogation on the nomad remnants. I implored the Freelancer to produce his registration, or follow me to Wildau where one may be checked in the system. Upon the denial of my request, I surreptitiously contacted Altenburg to determine if there were any assets in-system. Unfortunately, only a recon team was standing by at Heisenberg, without significant fighter assets. I ordered the vessel to proceed to Heisenberg and allow the team on board for inspection. Charlie,Jukins denied my request, and a fight ensued, in which I was unfortunately the loser. My pod made it to Heisenberg without issue, and I was greeted by the dour faces of the recon team, who provided transport back to Altenburg. I have been collating this report while waiting for a new vessel.
Hochachtungsvoll,
