► Brief biography: Klaus Schwartz was born to a middle-class family in Planet New Berlin on February 2, 784 AS to Heidi Schwartz (née Friedman) and Friedrich Schwartz. At the young age of nine, Friedrich Schwartz, his father, was killed when his gunboat, the RNC Schwarz, was destroyed by Hessian bombers while en route to Dresden. Determined to carry on his father's legacy, he enrolled at a military academy in the southern part of New Berlin in 797 AS and soon graduated with excellence in piloting. After finishing his education at the age of twenty-five, he joined the secondary fleet as the captain of the RNC Wodan.
His first assignment in the secondary fleet was to secure Dresden from Hessian attacks. During this time, he was determined not to repeat the fate of his father. He successfully destroyed two Hessian bombers single-handedly and a Hessian gunboat when the rest of his squad was lost to a coordinated attack. But in 814 AS, Liberty went to war with Rheinland. He was reassigned to take part in an offensive in Texas, where he destroyed many Liberty Navy ships. After the war, Schwartz continued serving the Rheinland Military, mainly focusing on domestic threats. But when relations with Kusari deteriorated into open war, he once again proved his worth. Later, when it became apparent that civil war would break out in Rheinland, he remained loyal to the government in New Berlin.
With the recent rise of the Corsair threat, he was assigned mainly to the Munich theater. There, Schwartz ensured victory after victory for Rheinland, and after the events in Frankfurt that led to the destruction of illegal bases by the Rheinwehr, he finally made the decision to transfer to the Kaiserliche Rheinwehr, to ensure that his commitment to Rheinland will stay in his heritage.

► Remarkable encounters as part of the Rheinwehr: As captain of the Wodan, Klaus Schwartz has proven his contribution to Rheinland in repelling attacks from Corsair groups such as the Deterrence in Munich and even launching attacks in Omicron Xi. He has also dealt with other issues, such as helping Rheinland destroy the illegal bases in Frankfurt and countering their defenses.
Reasons for joining the Kaiserliche Rheinwehr
Klaus Schwartz has always been a capable gunboat pilot of the secondary fleet, with two decades of experience. By giving the Kaiserliche Rheinwehr an asset, he is fulfilling his lifelong dedication to serving Rheinland's interests and to uphold Rheinland sovereignty.

Outline them (copy/paste will mean immediate and permanent rejection): Although Rheinland has emerged as an Empire after the bloody civil war a few years ago, there are still some threats left for Rheinland to fight against. The Unioners, although treated more tolerably after the war, still has some members who actively support the Corsairs and hence pose a threat to Rheinland. The Corsairs remain a problem though, and have invaded Munich and Frankfurt several times, but the Military has kept them on check. Socialist elements, such as the Red Hessians and the Coalition, are equal threats, and have proven to be capable even against trained Military assets. They still present a major obstacle towards retaking Dresden. Lastly, piracy still remains an issue, however, they are kept easily in check by the Military.
House tensions are somewhat troublesome, but diplomatic efforts with Bretonia have proven to be successful in easing tensions within the Omegas, but tensions between Liberty remain over the Hudson system.
