The mobile vessel that was used as a supply point for the survivors of Brittany was today destroyed. All Gendarmes in the system are now to operate from Battlecruiser Sisteron and Vierzon Mining facility. Although an almost insignificant setback in terms of strategic and military value compared to the tragedy of Issoudun, it is a large galvanizer of morale in our planned takeover of all Tau regions. I just want to say - the lives the couple thousands of civilians have given today are not in vain. There is a reason why all civilian enforcement was disbanded and replaced by you - the Gendarmes of Gallia, our full-fledged enlisted military servicemen.

One reason was order and destruction of corruption and restoration of order, yes. But the other was our capability of offensive action on detached territories. Gendarmerie will play a support role in the upcoming war effort against Crayter and Bretonia and the complete conquest of the Tau regions and their return under the rightful protection of Gallia. After this attack, we now have full moral justification, nay, duty, to go all-out without restraint to secure all of the Tau regions from these terrorists. Don't sell yourselves short my fellow Gendarmes. The Main Fleet, GNI, and Security Bureau are important. But it is the strength and resolve of the Gendarmerie that will turn the tides of the conflicts to come.

Our scopes are already set on the Tau-44 system, Battlegroup Cassard is just a system away and would make quick work of the remaining Crayterians there, let's see if the Main Fleet decides to pull the trigger.
