Good day Executive Offices,

My standard patrols today took my combat ship around the Tau-31 and Coronado areas, checking for any hostile activity around the vicinity of our Convergence Trade Centre and its supply routes.

I received a direct communication from an ID called 'CriminalMeans' which already set off some alarms given I was in Coronado at the time and had spotted a few potential pirates flying just out of scanner range.

The whole communication reeks of some plot to discredit or stain our corporation in some way, and the lack of evidence as well as the answers to some of my standard questions on the matter didn't add much to the credibility of the complaint. I recommend filing this under 'nuisance' as I'm assuming the issue and contact discussed likely never happened and is some sort of scam. I'm sure this call was 'setting the stage' for a future contact that will likely involve an insurance claim, a lawsuit, or just some sort of local thug bullying for credits.

Here's the details from the logs, for the records. Hopefully they sit there until archival down the road.

Freelancer feeling threatened by Interspace bullies - Feb 5

[05.02.2023 00:49:41] CriminalMeans: It was just a communication we got while having a hirthday party with the grandkids.
[05.02.2023 00:50:32] AWES-Chris.Blair: Does your ship record these conversations? Can you send our executives a copy?
[05.02.2023 00:50:33] CriminalMeans: I have a big problem if this Patton comes after me & that problem will spead like wildfire.
[05.02.2023 00:51:15] AWES-Chris.Blair: That sounds like you aren't just the solo freelancer you claim to be.
[05.02.2023 00:51:24] CriminalMeans: As for the record of the communication, i'll see what i can do.
[05.02.2023 00:51:54] AWES-Chris.Blair: Well hopefully you can provide some sort of evidence, otherwise this call will be laughed off at corporate as a hoax.

Other than this incident, my patrol was rather uneventful. I will continue to monitor traffic, providing support where needed.
