Description

The ability to track funds conveniently through banking systems has always given House governments an edge when it comes to routing out organized crime and other unscrupulous activities in Sirius. Paired with trade lane technology tracking abilities, criminals often need to become smarter to succeed in any venture for the long term.

Payment in product seems like one solution to keeping off the grid, transactions unrecorded. However, underground economies always find ways of establishing a standard to ensure ease of undocumented business. When an alternative commodity is accepted by lawful and lawless alike, it becomes even more of a de facto note.

Details

Event start

• This event will begin after the morning server restart on Feb 10.

Primary Objective:

• Pickup ONE (1) 10,000 CREDIT SIRIUS CREDIT CARD from ANY OF THE FOLLOWING INTERSPACE COMMERCE BASES:
  • Bonn Station
    
  • Newark Station
    
  • Roppongi Station
    
  • Versailles Station
    
  • Waterloo Station
  
  
• Further instructions will be provided at each station at time of purchase.
  
• A Freelancer or ship with fairly neutral or friendly rep with most lawful factions would be best to use in this event. FREIGHTER CLASS OR BELOW - THERE ARE SOME SMALLER BASES AS SELL POINTS.
  

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• There is no benefit to carrying more than 1 card. As soon as a card is sold, you will either be unregistered from the event (even if you have other cards), or in the case of the correct sellpoint, that event objective will be completed.
  
• When your cargo is sold or removed anywhere other than the event sellpoint, you will be unregistered from the event. This event does not tell you where most sellpoints are, but they are not far and attempts to integrate clues into the mission info work to give some direction on where to focus. Trying to sell the card at the wrong sellpoint will unregister you, but you just need to go back, get another card of that exact same type, and try a different location. Teamwork is encouraged!
  
• If you are working as a team, don't post sellpoints on the event page or anywhere else public as this will ruin the event for others who may have yet to try it out. Thank you.
  
• Eventually you will see the pattern to the missions. While they don't have to be done in order, there is at least one set where doing it out of order will kinda ruin the story for the area. Follow directions. Do Missions in order.
  
• Lastly, you can't be registered for more than one event at a time. Trying to do so will unregister you from the previous event in which you were registered.

details of DELAYED BONUS PAYMENT SYSTEM

• All delivery of Primary Objective Commodity will be recorded for LATER bonus payment. This will work similar to Forum trade events in that way, without any need to report inRP on forum, unless you choose to do so. Sell point will show $1 event bonus only.
  
• When Event Coordinator receives final list of participants, bonuses will be disbursed to appropriate ships. Larger values will have ships private messaged (/pm) ingame, to ensure ship can handle incoming credits or just reply with Bank ship account.

Event completion

• This event is a race to completion. Payment will go to first players to find and finish all objectives.
  
• Progress Tracking event section will give irregular updates to let you know how everyone is doing, and how many missions per area there are.

Notifying on Event End

• Ships that believe they have finished all event missions should communicate this to Event Coordinator (on this thread or other methods) so others can be informed. Confirmation by Event Coordinator through Event Statistics is required before winners are declared.
  
• Only one (1) ship can be used to complete ALL items for success and prize eligibility. You win if that shipname appears on all event completion lists.
  
• One prize per player. If you complete the event, don't run it again with a different ship just to get another prize. Share the wealth and fun!

AWES is proud to bring another event to the server will the help of our friends from administration, development, and many different factions.

We will continue to provide ongoing trade events as much as we can.

If you have ideas that you think would well implemented in the game MOSTLY BY PLAYERS for events, we are open to privately discussing and seeing how we can make this happen, provided it fits within our realm of activity/influence.
