Planet Harris. Bread Basket of Taus
Planet Harris: Last week Yuma Ocean Farming Co-operative announced it will be leading a project on Planet Harris in the Tau-31 system to continue the terraforming project of the planet with the objective of making it primarily an agricultural planet. They announced it will be in close co-operation with the house of Bretonia and Kusari to bring food recourses to each respective nation. Yuma Co-op has expressed that they are already planning to make a permanent settlement to conduct operations. Noting a focus on families willing and wanting to move, and start a new live farming.
A board member of Yuma Co-op was interviewed for his notions on the matter.
Q:"You have only just now announced this project, how is it you are already making such grand claims as if it's already half way done?"
A:"Planet Harris has already been partially terraformed by Planetform Inc. under a previous contract between Bretonia and Liberty. We will be able to take that progress already made in that time and capitalize on it greatly to our benefit. It is projected that in the coming decades the recourses produced by our efforts on Harris will be able to provide for Crayter thrice over! We'll be able to provide a future of growth for our nation. Plus that of our neighboring nations."
Q:"Yuma Co-op has expertise in Ocean farming, while Planet Harris is mostly a continental planet. Will the project face trouble in light of being 'out of the water'?"
A:"Yes, the company does show expertise in Ocean farming and hydroponics. Though, we have also done some operations on Planet Borneo that has a closer similarity to that of Harris. So I am sure we'll be up to the task at hand. Be sure to lookout for new information about this new project!"
