Headquarters And The Fleet

The Headquarter

Arnsberg Research Institute

The station was built to enrich Rheinland with a public research station, creating a hotspot of knowledge and progress.
As one of the newest facilities of its kind, it offers everything your heart desires.
From state-of-the-art laboratories and workshops to spacious conference rooms, everything can be found here.
For example, there are opportunities to research, build and test new types of drives.
Separate areas make it possible to work with new materials, even if they are radioactive or otherwise harmful to health.
State-of-the-art servers allow the analysis and prediction of trajectories of various cosmic objects and can also be used to simulate and predict physical events.
Discussions are currently underway with the government of Rheinland to test various prototypes outside the station.
The construction of further facilities and research satellites is also currently being planned.

The station serves as the starting point for our explorations and expeditions into the unknown territories of Sirius.

The Fleet

The flagship : New Horizon

Our flagship for research and testing. A civilian carrier of the Bustard class.
Internally, the ship was rebuilt so that as much eqiupment as possible can be installed or loaded.
This is at the expense of the armor, which is negligible. Furthermore, its scanners offer the highest range and the highest accuracy of the entire fleet.
On board, the data from various measurements of the internal and external devices can be processed.
Due to its size, there is enough space to accommodate personnel and to store supplies for longer expeditions.
Due to its powerful power generator, it can run even the most consuming equipment without any problems.

This is the ship on which our prototypes will be tested for the first time.

The long-term research and observation vessel : Oberservator

The Observatory is used for long term observation or as a support ship for the New Horizon.
In this role she takes over the supply and accommodation of the personnel.
The base for this ship is a L-584-B "Oasis".
This was also converted internally for our needs.
Here, however, more attention was paid to making the accommodation of the personnel as comfortable as possible, especially for long stays on board. For this reason, the passenger compartments were kept as typical for this series.

Our scout and transporter : Cosmos

This Dunlin class ship does not have large-scale research facilities like other ships in the fleet, but it is faster, more maneuverable and more durable than the others.
It is mainly used to explore asteroid fields or gas filled nebulae.
Its strong armor also makes it particularly resistant to radiation.
Since there is no research equipment installed, the cargo hold can be used to transport equipment or findings from one location to another.
We also use it to deliver supplies to other ships on excursion.

Our new addition : Perseverance

The newest acquisition is a Kusari Explorer called Perseverance.

Its main task will be the cartography of new systems and planets.

The first mission of this ship is still in planning and is currently in transit from Kusari to New Berlin.
