Description

All Worlds Enterprises & Securities recently announced its foray into Entertainment financing which included construction of a raceway venue, now complete, called Always Welcome Entertainment Services in Dublin.

An eye-catching facility with a focus on defensive platforms, this Dublin gem has one singular focus when the time is right - to keep the raceway free from those pesky drone racers!

On scheduled event days, you can expect:

• A hosted, commentated event that even non-participants can enjoy
  
• A variety of different race types - starting with traditional and ending with guns-blazing SOLE SURVIVOR ACTION!
  
• Interactivity with racers from all across Sirius
  
• Great prizes from our many sponsers

Event start

• This event will begin at the following upcoming race times:

  • Sunday March 5, UTC time of 6:00 PM

  • Racers: Register in advance your commitment to attendence in this event
    • Prereqs: Racing ships must be tagged with RACE-
      
    • Prereqs: Racing ships must be of FIGHTER class only - no bombers, gunboats, or CAPS please!
      
    • Prereqs: Racing ships will need to be docked at the Battleship Hood in Dublin.
      
      Getting setup

      Create a new ship with a pre-fix tag of RACE- therefore RACE-<shipname>
      Use the Bretonia Civilian restart to bounce to the right area: /restart CivilianBr
      Use the Startracker fighter or find another appropriate fighter and get to the Battleship Hood in Dublin!
    • Prereqs: Racing ships need to provide brief biography of their character for use with commentary during races (//give we hosts some material to make it most interesting! Like a speedway event! It doesn't have to be much, as long or as short as you wish.)
      
    • Note: Please let Event Coordinator know if you cannot attend for any reason, with as much advance notice as possible - rescheduling due to lack of participants is at the discretion of the Event Coordinator.
  • Spectators can view from the area around the station itself in the middle of the raceway, so long as they don't get in the way of the gunfire directed at the racers!
  
  There will be several different races in sequence - Five in total.
  
  All destructions by RACE- tag at the hands of other RACE- tag are simulated - those RACE- tag drivers sit out at the Battleship Hood until the next race if eliminated. All Races have shields, bots, and batts authorized for use.
  
  
  Race details!

  Race 1 - We start with a plain 'vanilla' type race

  • No Event guns will be active.
    
  • All racers will compete together. 3 LAPS to the finish.
    
  • Cruise engines will NOT be allowed for this race.
    
  • There is a WEAPONS HOLD on the first race - no shooting at your opponent or using weapons in any way to delay them.
    

  
  Race 2 - On the second race, we kick it up a notch!

  • No Event guns will be active.
    
  • All racers will compete together. 3 LAPS to the finish.
    
  • Cruise engines will be allowed for this race.
    
  • There remains a WEAPONS HOLD - with one exception:
    • Cruise Disrupters are authorized for use immediately.

  
  Race 3 - Third race gets more exciting even!

  • No Event guns will be active.
    
  • All racers will compete together. 3 LAPS to the finish OR Last remaining ship.
    
  • Cruise engines will be allowed for this race.
    
  • There remains a WEAPONS HOLD - with two exceptions:
    • Cruise Disrupters are authorized for use immediately.
      
    • Mines are authorized for use AFTER THE FIRST LAP.

  
  Race 4 - Time to turn on the fireworks!

  • ALL Event guns will be active. Stay in the lead - we dare you!
    
  • All racers will compete together. 3 LAPS to the finish OR Last remaining ship.
    
  • Cruise engines will be allowed for this race.
    
  • This is a WEAPONS HOT race - with two RULES:
    • Only guns can be used - No missiles or mines - and only AFTER THE FIRST LAP.
      
    • Cruise Disrupters are authorized for use immediately.

  
  Race 5 - And now it's time to say good-bye...

  • ALL Event guns will be active. Stay Ahead of the pack - and first target for the platforms!
    
  • All racers will compete together. Last remaining ship wins - ENDURE!
    
  • Cruise engines will be allowed for this race.
    
  • This is a WEAPONS HOT race - with two RULES:
    • Only guns can be used - No missiles or mines - and only AFTER THE FIRST LAP.
      
    • Cruise Disrupters are authorized for use immediately.
  
  Event completion
  • This event will be hosted and complete when all five races have successfully concluded.

  Selection Criteria:	Each Race will assign points to winners 3 pts for 1st 2 pts for 2nd 1.5 pts for 3rd 1 pts for 4th and below Final points determine final position! In cases of ties, value awarded for later wins over earlier, and most higher, later race, wins. ----- Winners of Top 3 positions are ineligible for Participation Draws. A Pennsylvania Zoner born to small-town physicians on Planet Erie, they studied on Manhattan to become a psychologist and open a practice in one of Erie's larger cities for many years, before going all in on a calling towards the stars they'd heard since they were young, now working mainly as a pathfinder. A relative recent comer to spacer life, but carries lots of enthusiasm! When they aren't busy as a field operative for Starlight's more hard-science researchers, they enjoy playing the harmonica, getting to know new people, indulging in borderline pretentious holo-novels, enjoying the outdoors on temperate planets, drinking coffee and catching up on new research journals in their field. They passed the Dublin racetrack one fateful day and were curious, so they tried it out solo after acquiring a small craft, were hooked on the rush, and now this rookie wants to bring home the accolades of their first big win in spacecraft racing. And those funds might be pretty handy for a certain few projects coming to the fore lately...
3.RaumDeuter	Callsign: RACE-RM-Gunter.Kunrad	IFF: Rheinland Military / Ship: Arrow Light Fighter BIO: Oberleutnant Gunter Kunrad is representing the Kaiserliche Rheinwehr for this race. With very little background in racing, he hopes his military experience can be of some use.
4 + 5.Kauket	RACE-"Tala" RACE-"Mayari"	SHIP TYPE: Arrows Pilot Biography: Rivals, couple, or sisters. Tala and Mayari are a mysterious duo hailing from a place far away, popping up everywhere across Sirius, seemingly at random. Mayari, the Moon, is reserved but quiet racer seeking the thrill of the ride. Tala, the Sun, is a vibrant but disruptive racer trying to earn their glory on the tracks.
6.hmmm	Pilot: RACE-Forgan_Meeman	Ship: R1 Ghoul Biography: An amateur freelance scout who most commonly would be seen running around in the Omicron systems. Forgan desires nothing but the thrill of the dangers of space and the speed of the vessel that takes him through it.
7+8 The Gen'an Chrysanthemums	Ship name: RACE-GC-Gin.Sake and RACE-GC-Mi.Sake	Ship types: 2x Hayabusa Biography: Two masked Sisters of the Gen'an GC have signed up for the race under an alias under the prospect of finding wealth, glory and entertainment. Who they are is a mystery, but one of them has the smell of alcohol hanging around her. The other has a boatload of attitude that cannot be contained to the confines of her ship. Let the games begin.
9 XCMachine	Ship name: RACE-GC-Furutani.Izanami	Ship types:: C15-F "Lily" Light Fighter Biography: One female that likes to investigate, scout and having fun outside of her daily work, seeking wealth, glory and gain reputation for herself and her faction of the Sisterhood. Don't be fooled by her attitude, she maybe a nice persuader and one moment, but if you push the wrong buttons, things will not go well for the person she faces.
10.Geno	SHIP NAME: RACE-Techie	SHIP TYPE: CLI-11000 "Arrow" Interceptor PILOT NAME: Techie. Just Techie. (Just Techie? Alright.) PILOT INFORMATION: Techie is another contender to the race. Armed to the teeth with technical quips and a sharp intellect, he is ready to kneel the competition through sheer smarts.
