John Rorke?... Is that a good name? I don't know. It'll have to do.
We've brought communications back to at least partial function. Most systems are still well below functioning. Weapons and Shields are online, but our best chance against a Navy Battlecruiser would be to take them with us. This fight is done. Everyones scrambling to leave, i think. Some chatter we've recieved suggests a few are standing their ground by the Triton, going to die in a blaze of glory i suppose.

I can't do that. I have a duty as the Captain of this ship to protect the lives of my crew.

The John Rorke might be one of the last ships to get... built, i suppose... She wasn't really built, hacked together from pieces to get a wreck to full enough function to go is more accurate. We don't know what her original name was. The markings had been scorched off.

We've taken shelter amonst the asteroids for now. Whatever ships make up the ragged elements of Battlegroup Triton can fight their battle... Continued battle here is a farce, a prayer and a hope for a moment of glory. I'm not done fighting. We're, not done fighting. But the fight isnt here. Not anymore.
God... Alright, Theres only a few ways out. We'll have to try and make a break to either Magellan or Iverness. Maybe we can get to the Tau's and vanish into unclaimed space for awhile. Maybe Canberra...? I don't know.

I've just been told our communications array might be functioning enough to send a message out... The signal might be too weak, the array is pretty damaged as it is, the field might scramble it beyond recogintion. It's something to do while Nav plots a course out of this forsaken system at least.

Guess it never hurt to throw a hail mary.
