The devices need to be idiot proof and easily activated.

The end result being that once my units are in place to collect the Six very large transport ships, they can activate the software and their escape plan is covered as even the intelligence units of Rheinland would only see six normal transports bearing Interspace commerce transponders.

I believe, but I could be wrong that this is achievable with but 100 units per ship of your counterfeit software, so 600 units in total.
