Well yeah in an ideal world RP would be like improv where you bounce off each other's ideas and agree with all of them, shooting people would be just the last resort.

But this isn't a RP server anymore despite it's name - it's the one server, for PvPers, beginners, Rpers, what have you, goals and aims of players differ

It's a PvP server dressed in the clothing of an RP one. Nothing more.

OP is right, most of the smoothbrains on this server are just out for PvP, the RP doesn't matter to them.
As evident by the usual /1 /2 blue.

We could be better, but we choose not to be.

There are some people who play to RP, but sadly they are among the few.

But, yeah, OP, if you are stealing technology - meaning you're using it without the permission from the representatives of the NPC group - they are fully allowed to shoot you. Zoners and Freelancers do not have special privileges due to open diplomacy. Neutrality doesn't make you immune to consequences.
