To you, it is unfair for your taste because it went in the wrong way that you planned in the first place. Many said good points here. You can continue to keep a corsair ship but don't complain that other corsairs might take you as a thief of ship. The RP made was fairly made. A corsair spotted you with a corsair ship. The same corsair had doubts about what you said. And believe it or not, if a corsair has doubts, they will question you and if you say something like:
