Changes to POBs

I agree with you. However, the current culture of this community regarding POBs is their current state of accessibility. To change it back to where seeing a POB is something great to behold because of the effort needed should be something implemented with time, not overnight. Much like how we are given a warning in hours, not days, of these changes. If we are going in the direction of POBs REQUIRING multiple people to operate and maintain, doing so in one or two patch updates with little warning will not be good to the POB population. Culture change takes time. Let it take the time that it needs so that people are not confronted with the possibility of losing their slice of digital space all at once.

I am not sure how this affects people too much.

Before this change, Core 1 & 2 used 1,440 RA per day. Core 3 & 4 used 1440 RA and 1440 RH (or 2880 RA if only one RM on the Base) per day.

Now all the Bases will need just under 2 x 5kers of RA per day or about 12 per week. Unless you have a group of POBs out in the middle of nowhere, the extra work is an extra few minutes work a day.

The positive side is that if you do a Core Upgrade the time it takes your Base to repair is reduced by 1/3.

So, the best option to get your POB to full health, in the quickest time, is to supply it with all 3 RMs. You need 2 in number of any of the RMs to heal 2,000 hps. This will mean that you need:
2 x 3 x 60 x 24 = 8,640 of each RM, each day, to be supplied to your Base for 14.66 days to get it to full health (126,662 units of each RM).
Seeing as Hull Segments take up 2 cargo space each, you will need:
Trips: 101 trips X 5kers.

This now becomes 8,640 of each RM, each day, to be supplied to your Base for 5 days to get it to full health (42,2620 units of each RM).
