"I heard that Tal Ravis, the renowned Freelancer pilot, recently saved the life of Mep, the guildmaster of the Mepian Gas Miners. Apparently, Mep was on a routine inspection of one of the guild's gas mining facilities when a group of rogue pilots attacked, hoping to steal the guild's valuable gas. Mep's security forces were caught off guard and outnumbered, and it looked like the guildmaster was about to be taken captive.

That's when Tal Ravis arrived on the scene, flying his signature Humpback fighter. Witnesses say that he swooped in and took out several of the rogue pilots, giving Mep's security forces time to regroup and counterattack. With Tal's help, the security forces were able to repel the attack and save Mep from certain capture.

Some say that Tal Ravis was hired by the Mepian Gas Miners to provide additional security for the inspection, while others claim that he just happened to be passing through the area. Regardless, it seems clear that Tal's heroics saved the day and prevented a major disaster for the gas mining guild. And who knows? Maybe Tal has earned himself a few extra credits and some goodwill from Mep and the rest of the guild."
