While inspecting a gas mining facility, Mep was attacked by rogue pilots attempting to steal the guild's valuable gas. Tal arrived on the scene and took out several of the attackers, giving Mep's security forces time to regroup and counterattack. With Tal's help, the security forces were able to repel the attack and save Mep from capture. Some say Tal was hired for the job, while others claim he was just passing through.
