Variant reporting on an expedition log under "Final Journey" conducted on the late hours of April 13 to the early hours of April 14, 830 AS.

I took the "Corvo"-class science vessel called Artemis and met a group of SLRC ships who pointed me to the direction of the Baxter anomaly near Ikarus Station. Three XB-SNT cruiser-sized readings were reported and were seemingly attracted to the anomaly as it constantly orbited. Nevertheless, me, Lazurith, and the SLRC vessels kept their distance as per usual protocol.

There was another XB sighting, although a smaller one, but in no case was it related to the three XB-SNT readings nor did it show direct aggression. Eventually, Revenant came and told us we'll be having reinforcements soon. On a side note, there was a Brigand and a hostile Crayterian cruiser that fortunately left, without paying any attention to us or the anomaly. I returned to Java and took my research vessel, the Pentation.

Fortunately, one "Arbiter"-class battleship came to our aid, the Achlys. However, something unexpected occurred. While doing a routine areal scan, ECM disruptors revealed the presence of a Rogue identifying as Montes and an Order spy liner with a cloaking device. Just before it could escape, I managed to pursue the latter with the assistance of a Kusari Naval offer, Kazu Chidori, who stopped the Order vessel in its tracks. I was under orders to destroy the XP, and it was carried out successfully. The remaining prisoners were taken onboard the Achlys.

We then moved back to the XB-SNT identified anomaly for immediate sterilization. What was interesting is that the XB-SNT readings made no attempt at attacking any of us. Instead, they seemed to mindlessly circle around the anomaly as it ignored the Achlys' gunfire. Eventually, all three of them were sterilized and we jumped to the Inverness system after collecting enough data on the Tau-23 anomaly.

While in Inverness, we met a robot called "Heavy Beep" and a fellow member known as Imogen Jau. After that, we decided to make the jump to Omicron Delta. However, there were some delays, but we managed to successfully analyze the Baxter anomaly present within the Tokelau Ice Cloud, which was noticeably different from the others in that a strong gravitational anomaly was present.

The next anomaly we visited was the famous "Prophet" anomaly in the dark matter storm that covers the Kepler system. This one was unique in that there were three Baxter anomalies forming a perfect equilateral triangle with a liner at the center. Despite possible Xeno interference, none of them were found and we headed to the Galileo system to ensure a safe jump to the next anomaly in the Texas system. We were initially concerned about "Wolf", better known as Hemlocke. Fortunately, they did not attempt to attack any of our vessels at any given moment.

We then jumped to our final anomaly in the expedition. It seemed that the anomaly was the product of Ageira attempting to create an even more powerful variant of a jump-gate, one that could travel large distances. Although the dark matter cloud was cleared, the area remained highly radioactive, even after several centuries have passed. Once we analyzed it, we went back to Valravn without incident.

DATA READOUT 830-BXT

- Tau-23 Baxter Anomaly: XB-SNT presence confirmed, Seemed to be aware of the anomaly only. Threat eliminated without any harm.
- Omicron Delta Baxter Anomaly: XB-SNT presence unconfirmed. Different from other Baxter anomalies due to a strong gravitational interference speculatively caused by multiple gravity wells. Wreck of a "Mule"-class freighter discovered.
- "Prophet" Anomaly: XB-SNT presence confirmed, though not in this expedition. Stabilized triage of Baxter anomalies. Hypothesized to be three gravity wells merging into one, which would be ideal for Sentinel incursions. Liner is present in the center.
- Texas Baxter Anomaly: XB-SNT presence unconfirmed. Artificial; caused by Ageira's failed jumpgate experiments. Strong radiation presence, due to a concentrated mass of energy. Once covered by dark matter, but only the wreck and anomaly remain to this day.
