We inspected the area behind the pilot's seat. Our theory was correct - what we found was an advanced artificial intelligence core. It appears to be self-made and put together out of scraps, but we were able to discern the Gammu components within. It is possible that whoever sought to modify this ship has salvaged one of the Gammu drones and used their core to make the ship itself react faster than any human would.

We are just done decoding the first batch of black box logs - the most recent ones were made by that woman. They shed no light on the origins of the vessel nor its function - the only information worth of note was how she procured the ship in Tau-61 system - the same place we found it. She described how the previous pilot was found in the pilot's seat with a hole "as big as a man's fist" inside their chest - the same fatal injury she sustained herself. She also mentioned how the ship itself had a DNA-lock - any access to controls would only be given to the carrier of pilot's DNA. The previous pilot's DNA code was replaced with her own - it is how she was able to pilot the ship in the first place.

Shortly after, we checked the ship's controls to see if it would obey our command, since we were the first ones to discover it after the previous owner perished. However, the ship refused - the main control display still states "New DNA required". Could it be because of our inner Light? Does it require its pilot to have an entirely human DNA code?

Each moment we study this ship, additional questions surface. It is quite a peculiar case. Additional black box logs are required to reveal more of the truth behind it.
