thats sounds like quite a fair fight. - rheinland cruiser ( which isn t really the largest - but has a reputation to be large ) - and the smallest gunboat that ll need like 5 years to even drain the shields of the cruiser.
would be worth watching - you should sell tickets... at 10credits / seat
* oh - and i am convinced that a destroyer pilot with a good aim can vaporize any gunboat. - the gunboat needs to be lucky many many times to inflict critical damage. - the cruiser just needs to be lucky maybe 2 times ( hitting a GB with a heavy weapon )
the damage increase in weapons is tremendous for the cruiser class. - gunboats deal with small ships - which reflects in their weapondamage. - cruisers are build to deal with things much larger ( when it comes to hitpoints... MUCH larger ) than them. one mistake - and a double mortar or a missile at the wrong time - and the gunboat is history.
