Victor Callotis, I am Blake Wayne Van Leer, Admiral of the First Armada. I have studied your records. I must say your story has intrigued me. A man with no real past, who seemingly had no future ahead of him either, turning it all around and graduating from the prestigious West Point of all places at the age of 35, gaining citizenship in the process. I like a good underdog story, and you will be given all the opportunities you will need to continue on your present trajectory. It is no secret that Liberty is eyeing the Omicrons as our next horizon, starting with Omicron Nu. After you acclimate yourself to your duty within the First Armada we and the Office of Naval Intelligence might make good use of your past life's knowledge.
