I was low on radiation doses so I figured I'd come back to Kepler for some more...and you know, to make fun of the scientists here. Flew through from Erie and ran into some coppers at the Colorado gate. For whatever reason, they stopped me and had a chat. They grilled me on where I got my money from...if they only knew the truth of where I got it from they'd probably have shot me on sight. They don't enjoy socializing with ex-pirates or thieves.

LP-Evan.Stone: Hold on a moment. I got some questions for you.
Lorcan: Aw do I have some stalkers?
Lorcan: Oh goodie, stalkers! What's up fellas?
LP-Max.Baker: Wooah Stone.
LP-Evan.Stone: Its not everyday I see a ship like that.
LP-Max.Baker: Look at that ship.
LP-Evan.Stone: Mhm.
Lorcan: Do ye like her?
LP-Max.Baker: You must be one rich man.
LP-Evan.Stone: No, but it is unique I can say that.
Lorcan: I do pretty well for myself. [He smirks.]
LP-Evan.Stone: So, who might you be?
Lorcan: Name's Lorcan.
Lorcan: Lorcan Wilder to be more specific.
Lorcan: 'lancer extraordinaire.
LP-Evan.Stone: Ok, and what brings you to Liberty?
Lorcan: Just passin' through.
Lorcan: This an' that.
LP-Evan.Stone: Hm. And what is your profession? You seem to be well off for yourself.
Lorcan: Well, I'm a 'lancer, as I said. Pretty good at it too.
Lorcan: Worked my way to the big time.
Lorcan: I like your, uh, Patriots.
LP-Evan.Stone: Yeah? And what does "being a freelancer" entail?
Lorcan: They're very...uh...
Lorcan: Unique?
Lorcan: You guys do know what a Freelancer is right?
LP-Evan.Stone: Yeah, I'm aware.
LP-Evan.Stone: But, I'm still curious what you do.
Lorcan: I shoot stuff when people pay me. I escort poor widdle transports when they need the help.
Lorcan: Occasionally, and this is important, I'm paid just to shut up and go away.
LP-Evan.Stone: So. A mercenary. At least its not a researcher...
LP-Max.Baker: You sure have done well for yourself sir.
LP-Max.Baker: Wish I was that rich, I'd fucking retire!
Lorcan: Oh, you won't believe this...did you know there is a base in the Taus, run by scientists, that's misspelled.
Lorcan: I died laughing when I saw it on radar.
LP-Max.Baker: What??
Lorcan: Yeah, they spelled it Ikarus.
LP-Max.Baker: What's the name of it?
Lorcan: [He cracks up laughing.]
LP-Max.Baker: [Bursts out laughing]
LP-Max.Baker: Nice one!
LP-Max.Baker: Okay I'll have to leave for a few moments.
LP-Evan.Stone: Heh. Though there are plenty of weird people out there in the Taus, plenty more that probably don't know how to spell.
Lorcan: Yeah, there's plenty of weird stuff out there.
LP-Evan.Stone: I don't think I could stand seeing another scientist or researcher again.
Lorcan: Oh? They been all up in your shit lately or somethin'?
LP-Evan.Stone: You wouldn't believe the amount of weird researchers I've met in recent days.
LP-Evan.Stone: Everyone wants to study some dark matter stuff, or some weird anomolies.
Lorcan: Have you run into those Auxo guys yet?
Lorcan: Weeeeeird people.
LP-Evan.Stone: Uh. Not personally, but I have heard of them.
Lorcan: Yeah, /real/ strange people.
Lorcan: They paid me to go away. Guess I bugged them too much.
Lorcan: Asked if they had intimate relations with robots.
Lorcan: Didn't like that too much.
Lorcan: Still got paid. [He laughs again.]
LP-Evan.Stone: Yeah....I'm sure that wouldn't have gone over well.
Lorcan: Eh, for people living out in the sticks, they really don't have thick skin.
LP-Evan.Stone: Well, I've kept you long enough, Pilot you may go.
Lorcan: Alrighty them Mr. Policeman, taker er' easy.
Lorcan: [He salutes.]
LP-Evan.Stone: The LPI will keep you in mind, should work come around while your staying here.
Lorcan: Lookin' forward to it.

I made up some bullshit about meeting Auxo and me pissing them off to try to garner some sympathy from them since rumor has it Liberty aren't on good relations with them. Not sure if it worked but they appeared jovial throughout the encounter, so I took it as a success. If I ever do meet some Auxo, I'll have to remember to ask if they have intimate relations with robots and if they got any System Transmitted Diseases.

Lorcan starts cracking up for a solid minute before continuing.

Would probably get me shot but it'd be worth it. Pissing people off is one of my favorite past times. I figured it wouldn't have been beneficial to piss off the police jockeys, after all I gotta fly through there every now and then.

Anyway, gonna get some sleep and more doses of that delicious dark matter. Maybe I'll grow a second...eh, maybe not.
