Kelly simply responded with a smirk. "John Holliday isn't going to know what hit him and trust me, Sugar, I will enjoy seeing it! Now if you will excuse me, I just want to get out of my work clothes and into something more social. I will be right back." With that, she went to her own quarters, showered, changed and fixed her hair. She was careful not to upstage Isabella. She would return about a half hour later.
For Kelly, it had been awhile since she actually enjoyed herself. Being on a small base in Baffin with very limited shore leave, there was little to do. With the arrival of Med Force One, it gave her something else to look forward to. It was also nice just to see another crowd. The two of them walked together first down the corridors of Med Force General before boarding Med Force One. The many small cafes on the ship were nice but were nothing compared to the main cafe on ship.
It served cuisine from all over Sirius and Gallia alike. It was a place for everyone on ship, resident and visitor alike to visit, dine, relax and enjoy. While it wasn't required, most dressed for a night on the town. For them, it was nice to get into their wardrobes. Around it and even within it were small gardens with fauna from everywhere but what people really came to do was enjoy some good entertainment.
The restaurant was designed with the dining area surround a large, circular, center stage that rotated slowly. On that was a grand piano which got played by many. Still, other brought their own instruments to entertain as well or just themselves. Some played, some sung and some gave stand up comic routines. On this night, in the presence of Med Force General, it was almost a demand to have their founder play the piano and the crowd was gathering.
If asked, the bartender just shrugged. His job was to serve and he had nothing on the schedule as far as who might be on stage, if anyone. Kelly and Isabella would be just two of those taking a seat. As Isabella was new, she got some attention as did Kelly who wasn't a regular. For Kelly, those who did know her just felt it was nice to see her out to enjoy a bit as it was a rarity.
