I'm also sure there's plenty of people trying to court you into seeking asylum with them instead, maybe even people lying through their teeth that all they care about is your well-being.

Let me be the first to give you proper respect through honesty. What I want in return for providing you the facility of asylum is any and all insight and knowledge you have regarding Liberty's tactics, inner workings, and arrangements. Everything from dull logistics reports to special operations conducted in recent history.

In return for providing these things, you'll be under our protection from now till the day you die. You won't be treated any differently than the rest of us, and if you have any family, or friends who wish to join you then I'll extend this agreement to cover their safety as well. The assembly will complain and say I've amended the scope of the asylum petition, but it also won't overrule me given your value to our cause. I'm also going to use this opportunity to point out that by coming with us, you'll still be in a position to do something for Erie. Running away is definitely safer than taking up refuge with me and mine, but it eliminates your potential to do anything of value.

And if we're going to found a nation that can stand the test of time and opposition from the Houses, we'll need people like you. So I'll help you, provided you're willing to help me help my people.
