For me it was fun to play on zoners side as "useless" bomber" (because of my bad weapons loadout) because of that I just try to escort transports.
Funny facts that I noticed:
1) first two or three transports was ignored by liberty side. I saw how pelican (probably it was him) transport tried very hard to get attention of Navy - flew and fired in their direction, I even imagined his *sigh of sadness* - no one pays attention to him.
2) zoners try to make shield made of themselfs to protect last three transports from navy.
About some freelancers on our side - checked one of them he used zoner id but with freelancer IFF. About others can't said anything.
Oh, about pre-announce who will win - for me its like spoilers, I think someone may lose enthusiasm for participation when they know where everything will lead.
But this is just my opinion.
