Quote:Well, not admin rights in the old fashioned way, but admin rights adding your user not to the admin group, but to every directive that is useful for you... that way its harder to detect because most people only check for the group the user is in to determine if it has admin rights or not.
So you first need to install a good old keylogger to get the admin pass of the account. But as you can't install a thing on the computer, you need to replace an exe file that is executed on system start with the keylogger exe file...
jeezzz, you make it sound so damn hard... one word for you.... "DOS" make a little script in a ".bat" file created in notepad to add yourself to the administrators group... nobody will ever know, (unless your dad throughly checks every inch of the hard drive) The script adds a new user, then moves them to the admin group (user is NOT shown on the basic list, only visable if you know how), and the great thing about it? you don't even have to be on the server machine to run it.. the program updates the server for you (if you have a proper network)
what operating system is he running? if its the same as our college used, i can get hold of the coding, or even the whole script file for you (worked for us, but depends on your system) if it'll work i'll mail you the coding or something, as i'm not placing it on a public forum for anyone to "mis-use"
this way is no mess, no keyloggers that can be detected, and no passwords needed.
