I have again assumed the position of Direktor of the Büro des Marinenachrichtendiensts; several announcements and standing orders will be issued this week. The most crucial of all that must be addressed now, though, is the Libretonian effort to violate the war treaty set in place nearly a decade ago.

Planet Atka (Hudson) falls outside the Libretonian borders. However, spies and recon indicate that Planetform Inc. have once again populated Cold Bay Station and are resuming terraforming operations. Though this will not be complete in our lifetimes, Atka being terraformed and secured by the Liberty Navy would pose a grave threat to our border security in Hamburg.

This cannot be allowed to stand, and the wheels of the former "Imperial" government will need to witness the harsh reality of this firsthand to make a quick and well-informed decision.

We will be deploying more recon wings DIRECTLY to Atka and issuing demands to cease this terraforming operation once and for all. The Alma will withdraw if we succeed, leaving the peace treaty intact. Otherwise, we will result to whatever means necessary to secure our nation's borders and make the Libretonian threat to Rheinland clear.
