Prize Pool: 10x any snub code including sci-data ones, Promotion, 3 Tiers of awards for top 3 places, 1 Billion
How to take part: Join the First Armada to compete, or simply take part by sparring with the contestants in Connecticut on your favorite ship, with an added warm feeling of helping them score points.
Duration: Now until Sunday 2nd July, Server Restart
Location: Connecticut
Points counted on: 1st| tagged, on any class. For undertaking conn fights, won or lost (i.e. winning gives you no advantage)
Points counted against: Any ship class and any ID,in connecticut. Snub, cap, but with normal game conditions (i.e. Nanobots, missiles, etc.)
Proof required: DSace log or blue message (your or opponent's death - both count equally as one point )+ running total of fights undertaken

Commentary:

We are one of the most active factions on the server, and after the huge success of 1st Fighter ACE tournament vol.1 [CONCLUDED] we would like to give both our members an incentive to improve, and the community outside of Liberty a chance to interact with our players. We hope many people will give 1st members a chance to hone their skills in Connecticut and teach them to get better in the process.

The event is available to cap players as well, but they have an obvious disadvantage as their fights take longer. This is a trial run and if successful will be done periodically, probably in a rotating schedule with an internal League to see how our people have actually improved.

Prize pool distribution is to be revealed near the end of the event. Prizes might take some time to hand out after the event is over, depending on how exotic and expensive the code gun requests will be.
